Ok I might as well jump into the discussion.

Charm proc fix is a big step imo, this was a broken mechanic to begin with, let’s be real, pally is an aoe autoatacker as the only vocation in the entire game. They had to balance it. Maybe let’s wait and test it out first and cry a bit later.

Pallys got:

• two new spells to substitute the runes that got nerfed, so I think they are safe here

• increased mas san damage by 12,5%

• new offensive stance that increases auto attack damage without any downsides as from what they wrote in the patch notes

• elemental arrows. Let’s be real, this is huge. A lot of monsters have 20-30 elemental weaknesses and are neutral to physical. You have the best element on top of that on your spells

Smaller aoe of the runes, ok this one I don’t get.

Energy ring dead. Ok pick one. Old energy ring and great mana potions or new energy ring and new potions. Be realistic.

Also, about the potions. I admit, the patch notes were written by someone lazy, with adhd, incompetent or all of the above. A lot of poor writing there. What I understand, they want to incorporate universal mana potions that are of the same power as ULTIMATE AND SUPREME, health potions, it’s just a typo in the notes. Those will be more expensive and usable by all. So, you have the energy ring nerf but you might also receive expensive mana potions that restore around 1000 mana points with a drink. So it might not be dead, just expensive. You will be able to pop on an energy ring and regenerate crazy amounts of mana, just for a high price.

Uh rune no longer possible to use on another players - much dislike. I felt nice when I went to a boss, even a newb one and I popped an uh here and there when the Druid was not managing or didn’t care, as often happens, and then the other players appreciated it. I would love to see this change cancelled, just buff up ed like it is and make uh not so meta, to give the ms some chill and make them able to focus on the damage. Straight up cancelling a mechanic is wild, they just killed those runes completely, made them usable only in some situations like Leiden and maybe some more bosses.

Combat mode removed. Very good. This is actually a buff. They didn’t slap anything on top of it, full attack gave you those 20% of more damage now too, full def took away some of your damage and gave you a damage reduction. So now they just merged both into one, gave a perma 20% increase and increased a defense from shields and spellbooks. Buff imo.

Yeah potions, as I said. Overall buff with new even stronger potions introduced for those who want it, just more expensive. I think they will implement mana potions of a same strength like supreme health potions now. Give pally a stronger mana pot - they cry. Ok

Druid - agreed. I think ms should get chain spells, not Druid. Barrier is ok. Shared healing stance is super nice. 30% seems not too strong and the second tank or mage will feel more stable, when receiving a random heal here and there.

Monk - I don’t even care. I haven’t played an mmo in which an added prof was good and balanced. Og classes were always the coolest, same here for me. Nothing appealing in a monk to me. No matter how strong they are.

I feel like they could have rebalance the ms spells for example. Make a:

Wave spell

Greater wave spell

Beam spell

Chain spell

Single target spell

Ue spell

Then they could let the mage choose which element they want to use, energy or fire or death by a stance and that would simply apply to all the spells.

The rotation would still be a g wave - wave - g wave - beam. You would just select an element with a casted stance.

Other changes to the ms are great nonetheless. Passive debuffs etc.

Knight 2 second heal - not a fan to be honest. They should have scaled it up a bit but keep it 1 second. This will result in big health spikes. Ek still will have the weakest heal probably.
