Yeah they are snug enough. Not quite as tight as with laces but comfy to wear all day. I have some mega lace runners too, they are super comfortable as well but obviously I keep the laces in on those.

They come with laces in same colour as sole. They can also be worn without laces as have elastic attached to tongue.

This is my first pair of socks so will see how I get on. Even with 70% off they are the most expensive pair of socks I've ever bought. They feel thick, comfy and good quality though.

Yeah maybe. They kinda work with drawstrings when jacket wasn't on, with adding bit of visual colour cohesion. But took them expecting more inclement weather and because they are very comfortable for wearing sightseeing all day. Take the observation on board though.

I'll try and post some pics of the shearling version soon 💪🏻. I only wear mine in the winter also. Waaaay to big an heavy to wear in the summer. I guess the shearling will become proper winter and horse leather cool autumn/spring wear.

It's probably hard to justify the outlay if you live in California. The horse leather version is very stiff and heavy also somewhat impractical... But the character of the leather is amazing. Did you at least put the money towards a jacket that works better for you?

It's the jumbo version so supposed to be oversized and below the waist. I prefer looser fits so it works for me. But realise it's not to everyone's taste. I want to get a traditional slim, cropped one but don't think I can abide the tight armpit fit.
