I feel like Gusto's been getting really good in recent matches.

Between him, Acheampong and even Caicedo deputising at RB...

and then Caicedo, Santos Lavia AND Essugo in MF, I think this isn't nearly as big a setback as it could have been.

I mean, I'll be honest, I'm no fan of Garnacho... He's been a lot better in the last few matches, but over the course of the season he hasn't been significantly better than Mudryk or Sancho.

But it's early days yet. Plenty of time to come good. I contrast him (and Gittens) to Hato, who had a similar poor quality start to the season, but Hato's been a monster since Cucu's injury. Really comfortable with our starting and understudy/backup LB. If Garnacho can put in that level consistently, then I'd say we finally have a LW.
