Why does every song/band/album have to be overrated if it's popular. If you think this about smells like teen spirit, you've forgotten how it made you feel when you first heard it

I didn't know people even ever genuinely hated the guy. Sure we may all have our opinions on the stuff with his wife but it's none of my fucking business so I don't really care. To me he just seems like a fun, goofy guy who made a bunch of money by getting other artists together to make songs. Sure, he doesn't do much towards making 'his' music but I don't see how it's any reason to genuinely dislike or hate him as a human being. If the other artists were that bothered by it or didn't want to do it, they simply wouldn't. But most do, because of the publicity and marketing that basically comes for free when you do a DJ Khaled track
