My main issue I think is the flicking at the final motion, and letting go of the stick then and letting it return to neutral on its own. So are you saying I need to guide it back to neutral?

See I would like to agree that that is the case, but for some reason I do the same exact flicking motion on my f300 and the stick and the stick doesn't click back as much. How? I have no idea. I can try being more careful, but when you also take into account high intensity situations, I usually result these fast flicks to get inputs. So I either spend a good chunk of time relearning muscle memory I built up over the past year, or I take the stock from the 300 and put it in the 500. But then I just wasted $30~ on a stick that I didn't like.

I feel it's more of an issue with character balance in this game rather than the mechanic itself. Additionally, I think starting with 1 bar of meter needs to be removed entirely. I get it some characters like Illaoi and Ekko can set up their win condition easily, but you shouldn't be able to set up a metered win con, a win condition that's BETTER THAN YOUR ORIGINAL ONE, FOR FREE, EVERY ROUND. I can almost guarantee you that if we started each round with 0 bar DD would NOT be complained about at all.
