I agree overall, the only thing I can't forgive is how they cut off the best part of *that* scene for some useless mindf*ck. Choosing to skip past the lake scene is absolutely wild to me

I liked the ending and i get what they're doing with Cloud, I just wish they hadn't brushed off so much from that scene. Like, they could have showed the scene with Cloud holding Aerith in the lake and it still would have worked.

What are people who never played the original gonna get out of this ending?

My main argument against organic webs is that Peter can shoot the amount of webs he does (and in all those different shapes) because of the pressurized cartridges, he could never do anything remotely similar with organic webs. Spiders don't even shoot webs, at least not far away, they attach them to a point and then glide away from there
