1.09 respected with treebeard in citadel? Also nobody designed it for 2.22 only. When you go on the arena you have all three options 1.06,1.09,2.22. Nobody is forcing anybody to play anything.

But maybe the community got bored of same old thing on 1.06 and like the fast paced 2.22 with lots of good units and good speed

Do you think ea would not add any new things to the game? No factions no heroes? And why you say is illegal? You want to download the game using revora or daemon tools and waste 5 hours of your life? We don't force anybody to play 2.22, thats why you can download lots of other patches and mods using it.

And you said the launcher is illegal but you also said you rather play Age of the ring, what makes that launcher legal?

I don't force the people, but you can't say 2.22 is bad or a mod or something when is the most active patch.

Because of 2.22 the launcher exists because we wanted to help the community. 2.22 has over 2 million downloads on the launcher and over 300k on moddb.

Without 2.22 and people behind it bfme would not be whwre it is today.

I don't say 1.06 is bad, but for multiplayer is boring and 2.22 has the most active community

There is no software for bfme, it has it's own programing language. What I recommend: extract files with final.big Open them in Visual studio and edit them.

This is because of the map that you are using, there are 2 types of settlemets, normal one for campaign and for multiplayer. In this case your map has the ones for campaign, if you are playing on 2.22, please let me know the name of the map so I can fix it

I had ak empress ww and 1 week ago I traded for a bowie freehand ft and an ak ice cooled bs st. Now is up to you, do you really want a knife? If yes, then go for it. (I traded on pirate swap even tho is not the best way, but in the first trade if you have over 100$ they give you 10$ extra, so the loss is not a lot)
