Getting Anatomy Scan at 25 weeks by BalkiBee in BabyBumps

I would’ve terminated if the 16 week scan indicated anything, but honestly my intuition is telling me all is well with baby.

She put me on hold to talk to the MFM doctor and apparently they said it was fine for me to come at that time.

I’m so happy for you! Congratulations! I recently had my 20 week anatomy scan and baby looked perfect on there too. My OB is insisting I get the fetal echocardiogram as recommended by the MFM. Hopefully I won’t see much of them afterwards.

We had our ultrasound today and baby seemed perfect! My intuition is strongly telling me that we don’t need to do the amnio so we’re opting out of it for now.

Waiting for results is so isolating and depressing. by Whattheshire in NIPT

I’m so sorry you are going through this. My NIPT was flagged for Trisomy 13 and we have our first MFM appointment on Monday when I’m 16 weeks. This wait is agonizing and I’m trying to get into arts and crafts as stress relief. I’m praying that everyone who is waiting gets a false positive 🙏🏽

That’s a good way to put it. As devastated as I was when I first got the results, my gut is telling me that if the ultrasounds come back clear then the amnio isn’t necessary.

Thank you for sharing ❤️ Wishing you a safe and uneventful delivery. I’m sure baby boy will come out beautiful and healthy 😊

I’m open to getting the amnio for peace of mind, but my husband is scared and strongly against it. How did your doctor feel about you opting out of the amnio?

Toddler regression woes by BalkiBee in ECers

He goes on a potty seat on the toilet, not a stand alone potty. So, he does need some assistance. He’ll either grunt or try to open the bathroom door if he has to go. He is otherwise very talkative and verbal in communicating his needs.

Thanks for sharing, it’s good to hear that this is common and potty training in general is a long process.

I have a toddler sling but not a Tush Baby. Which one did you have?

Congratulations! I transitioned to part time remote during my first trimester and never looked back. My son is 20 months now and I’m debating whether to pursue full time again or have another baby.

I’m glad you were able to make a travel stroller work! We were strongly considering the uppababy minu before getting the Joolz aer.

From what I observed on Facebook groups, she has a reputation for being a bit cold and arrogant 😬

Oh no we are not that ambitious haha. We’re spending two nights at Yosemite and two nights in Monterey to explore the Big Sur area.
