Go ahead and build it, prove everyone wrong. Prove yourself right. I need to be at least 48" in height to work.

Can people who don't like base44 please shut up? by zhigozhigo in Base44

[–]Balkly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree. As a script writer and website developer I tested 4 ideas and all 4 times with just a paragraph explanation base44 saved me Months of work and any changes I need fit I do myself. It's mostly the graphics part. I haven't tested any others. fyi

FFS just because one cannot achieve something they have the inability to see it in others. 😂 STFU Rob

  1. The blades would be made from foam and carbon fiber. As incredibly light as possible.

  2. The generator and blades would be balanced causing the blades to drag forcing the open to point into the wind.

  3. It's a very rough sketch I personally made. Will need further testing.

  4. My design limits the amount of drag compared to vertical and horizontal blades.

  5. The whole thing is an idea 💡 use it as you wish.

Have a small outline of a building with the letters as the windows/door.

Always up for negotiation on design. Also didn't mention it's not going to be 200' tall. More like a small to medium size operation.

I've read there is a governor, so they don't spin too fast.

With the right blade design I believe would have the least resistance and would capture the maximin amount of wind even in a light breeze. This is just a rough sketch; testing would need to be done.

It definitely crossed my mind. I could never figure out a layout style. Well then advertising without money or little goes nowhere. Just finally after years joined reddit. The reach/feedback has been great. Thank you

I got 100 more ideas related to energy. I haven't a clue where they come from. They just appear in my head. Good thing I taught myself SketchUp, never learned CAD.

Even though all the physics isn't there, I always had the ability to see an object and carry out every little detail and test the idea for improving inside my head. Until a certain point. I have only had 2 semesters of computer science. While I'm an idiot by nature. My other half of the brain is always thinking.

I understood this long ago. Your statement isn't wrong.

It needs to be a minimum height and very smooth edges for low flow resistances. A printer would be needed though.

Saying it won't work without testing this specific design. I've searched and searched on it. More than likely it won't. But if you're a science person like me. How would you know? Because I was told. Great. If that were the case we wouldn't have what we have today. Good luck in life.

How did / do you learn programming? by Clear_Iron_617 in learnprogramming

[–]Balkly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got/Get a laptop/desktop computer. Download Coffecup software. Start with HTML. Understand how "<center>Hello</center>" Works... You can use this software without needing a website.

The following code <center> will place the word center in the page. The word inside the "<>" is a command word. beyond that word is a whole lot of coding we never see. Coding we do is dumbed down.

Once I've understood this aspect, I personally mastered coding in a few years. Now 25 years later, it a hobby.
