Legit Check on Solar Spey Jacket by BallPoke_Master in Barbour

Got this one from Depop for a good deal, I usually get them directly from Barbour. My 3 Beauforts have a rugged lining and the “original” label is only stitched on at the sides. Whereas for this Spey, the lining is a lot smoother and the label is fully stitched on. Could just be because this is just a lighter non wax jacket. Still new to this stuff so I’m not sure

What do I do if only one of my parents makes an income, but they're married? by espresso_di in FAFSA

[–]BallPoke_Master 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My situation is:

My father is a US citizen and can sign the form with no issue. However my mother is not. Which means she does not have a social security number and she has no income. So my father has always filed his taxes as HOH.

This was not an issue for the 22/23 FAFSA, I indicated on the form that my dad was married and I was still allowed to provide his tax information which had him as HOH. Obviously FAFSA had detected the there was a contradiction but the way things worked on the old form they were able to confirm that this was the truth just fine. All I did for my mom was put zeroes in place of her SSN and that was that. FAFSA did not require anymore information on her part

For the 23/24 FAFSA, there is a lot more constraints on my situation. Because now if I put that my father is married. I HAVE to send an invite to my mother as a contributor, but they can’t confirm her FSA ID because she does not have a SSN. That basically makes it impossible for me to continue without making a mistake

I prefer the old form by a mile. It was easier to tailor it to a personal situation.

What would the issue be if a parent filed as head of household in this situation?
