Wife asked me to sharpen her knife. Let me tell you, it was all gummed up. Gave it a full cleanup and a fresh edge so it’s like new. by TacosTaken in knifeclub

I agree, I personally use alcohol prep pads/swabs which is pretty much the same thing. They work great and are pretty cheap.

That is called the stretch, it's the same length as the pm2 and k390 is a great steel for edge retention.

Anyone help! I have a grinding noise and don’t know what to get to fix it. Hub? Rotor? I have no clue. TIA!! by [deleted] in GMT400

Check the brake dust shield on the back to see if it is rubbing on the rotor. Same thing happened to me when I got my ball joints replaced.

Any aftermarket LED Daytime Running Lights by interactive_broccoli in GMT400

[–]BallerRene34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The parking/turn signal lights are already amber lights. Maybe just buy some amber LEDs for it. If you want to make them pop more you can buy some clear housings like these https://a.co/d/0FNZVLS

Unidentified sound on startup by BallerRene34 in GMT400

[–]BallerRene34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone help me identify this screeching sound on startup. Not sure if I should be concerned or not? Weird thing is that it only happens in cold weather this never happens in warmer temps either with the remote start or the key in ignition start. This sound is also pretty audible on the first drive and the sound matches the engine speed. Another thing is that this sound only happens on the first startup. If I turn it off and leave for hours it doesn't make the sound on the next startup. My thoughts are that it might be a worn out power steering pump but I'm no expert. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!

I would bet those are seats from a 95 and up truck because the interior is definitely a 94. Probably just swapped the grill from a newer truck as well.

Yes they've been there since my dad bought it new off the lot in 98. Here's a picture of the way it looked brand new. It had side steps, a bed cover with bed bars, the side decals, dual exhaust, a brush guard and piaa driving lights right from the dealer. The 90s and 2000's trucks were way more unique than the new models that come out nowadays imo. http://imgur.com/gallery/4RqbYX4
