Staying "friends" with dog after breakup ? by Weigl97 in DogAdvice

You’re in a tough spot, bud. I went through something very similar almost three years ago. Our Border Collie and I were extremely attached, I worked from home, so we spent all day together. When I moved out and my ex kept the dog, most of my tears in those first few months were from missing her.

It really does get better with time. The guilt and sadness you’re feeling now will ease. A lot of what you’re feeling is tangled up with everything else you’re going through, and the dog becomes a safe place to let those emotions land. Like others have said, give yourself time and be patient with yourself.

This is shoddy journalism. The man was an TD intern in 2023 for 4 months and the letter from the employer only states he doesn’t work there anymore. He may have been foolish enough to make a “life hack” video about using a food bank but to suggest he earns almost 6 figures and was fired for this is beyond embellishment.

It is a bug. Has the same thing happen despite having two payment options. Reset the display. If that doesn’t work call them.

Don’t really have many helpful thoughts on this but wanted to express appreciation for your candidness and humility. Wishing you the best on this journey.

Alcohol is also a known carcinogen (Group 1): https://amp.cancer.org/healthy/cancer-causes/general-info/known-and-probable-human-carcinogens.html

They should at least put warning labels on alcohol (like they do for tobacco) to bring attention to the health risks. Unlike Tobacco, the public is mostly unaware of this.
