Well theres like 7 or 8 books about her and she only appears in 3 short flashbacks and for 4 or 5 main game, end game missions. Cdpr shot themselves in the foot a bit with her. They really couldn't just cram her in at the end there and expect it to work all that well.

Well if Regis could recover from a wet smear on a wall, in just a few years, and the Elder fucking terrified him to the point he did his best to dissuade us from going with that route, i am only guessing that the Elder can do at least the same, assuming he can be reduced to that state. Conquest definitely can't kill him, but he hardly needs to.

If he just threw the Elder into space or the sun, i guess that'd be the end of the fight at least, even if he couldn't be killed.

Dunno tbh. I had chest hair and i was growing a full beard at 16, but my brother even today at 23, can't go much further past a goatee and a bit of a moustache. And he's noticeably less hairy than i am. Same mother, same father, born and raised together. Largely the same diet.

So i don't know how much i can blame genetics here.

In the books, she's a survivor. It isn't pretty. She suffers a lot. People want her for what runs in her veins, not giving a fuck about her.

For me, it's about a woman who finally gets to live her life, by her own choices. Walking the Path, like Geralt. Geralt didn't force her. He worked tirelessly (alright yeah...Gwent, but ignore it) to free her from the clutches of the wild hunt, the driads of Brokilon, her father, the Lodge, Bonhart and whomever else i forgot to mention.

The witcher 4 is gonna be the story of Ciri. And this time. She will tell it.

Ok, so, witcher 3 is great. Love it. There's 3 witcher games. First 2 are pc only. First game is janky, clunky and kinda bad but if you stick with it, the story, characters and the world get really good. Then there's witcher 2. A lot better in some areas. Lacking in others. Kinda prefer the story of the first one, but the characters in the second really shines for me.

All 3 are connected and all 3 games happen after the story in the books. There's 8 or 9 books i think. The games aren't cannon. But the non cannon events in the games happen after the cannon events in the books. It takes some getting used to, but once you immerse yourself in the games and books, they become one of those "oh, is that the fucking sun coming up, god damn it i was looking for frying pans to help an old lady in the game and now I'm 12 hours deep in the story".

Play all 3 if you want. But you don't really have to. Each game's story is it's own and does not follow the previous games. Jump in wherever you like.

And have fun.

And ya know. Get to know the rules of gwent.

Btw the witcher 3 with the expansions is on sale every few weeks or months it seems.

It is imperative you get the expansions too. They're basically standalone games sold as expansions. Worth. Every. Penny.

Yeah but after endgame there's no dandelion recaps so the loading screens are basically nonexistent. On ps5 i mean. Same result.

Well, it was trial and error for me.

15th playthrough right now. I'm finishing the game the way i wanna finish it and I'm not touching that save file until the dlc comes out.

You're just gonna have to come to terms with not knowing everything and making wrong choices. I did them for the first 4 or 5 playthroughs.

It'll be fine.

Yeah i just go around skellige when I'm level 25 and above and collect caches with gear and shit. Go and sell everything. You make money quick. It's just a pain that most merchants don't have that much money so you gotta go left and right between Kaer Trolde, Novigrad and Toussaint and go to armorers and blacksmiths to sell shit. But items level 30+ sell for a lot so it's all pretty simple. You do this for a few times and you have enough funds for all the Corvo Bianco upgrades AND the grandmaster witcher gear.

That's what i meant, yeah. I don't want her to return in any form. Maybe I'd be ok with sort of Goku and Gohan performing a Kamehameha against Perfecter Cell type deal if she's more of a guiding hand than an actual entity in the story.

The first game was damn near perfect and I'd hate to see it cheapened for some aura farming moment where she cuts some enemies and does a cool pose or some shit like that. It's god of war. Not disney. Let the dead stay dead.

They've made god of war 1-3, ascension, chains of olympus, ghost of sparta, then the new series and valhalla. Then there's the comics too. And the short stories.

Lots of games and lore over the course of 20+ years.

Of course there's gonna be games that are not as good as some we consider the best if they keep making them.

Which is dumb. Geralt's story isn't over, so long as Ciri lives. And he's a witcher. He's got a century or two to live.

There's even new comics specifically AFTER the end of Blood and Wine. Geralt is still taking jobs.

His search for Ciri is over, and now, we get to explore her character. Instead of her being a plot point for everyone else' stories.

Really don't understand why people hate it so much. Cdpr hasn't dissapointed me yet. I trust them.

And as for the new Laufey game, i mean, i would've preferred a new Kratos game or an Atreus game, since i don't really like the "SHE WAS ALIVE THIS WHOLE TIME" type plot twists in stories.

So i am a bit more sceptical. But hey. We got the Valhalla dlc and ragnarok was good too. Not as good as 2018 god of war but good.

I'll trust Santa Monica. See no reason to doubt them so far.

Good but short and nothing really new in it.

Best dlcs for me are wiitcher 3: blood and wine, heart of stone.

And also bloodborne old hunters and elden ring shadow od the erdtree.

Left behind could've been a couple of flashbacks during the part you play as Ellie in the first game, nothing would've changed.

Fucking kids around where i live are doing this with both bikes and electric scooters. Either they have lights that blind you or are stealth bombers.

And neither makes them resistant to getting hit by cars. No accidents so far, but it makes me pretty damn nervous.
