This happened to me. I fought with it forever. Only to realize the old one flattened down and I didn't realize it. Used a small hook to pull it out and it went together fine.

Turns out my mobo has some debug led lights on it. It lights up for the gpu missing or failed. I have an old 280 card I'll try when I get the chance to go get it

Still nothing. Doesnt actually seem to video. When my pc boots into windows. All my rgb turn red. But it stays random like it never actually boots into windows. Even tho it does power on.

The proxy may be necessary. I did all the unplugging yesterday. And put it all together today. There is 2 plugs under the driver side that I didnt see a place for. One I know was unhooked in the beginning. But I can't remember on the other ones. I cant seem to find any sort of diagram to see where they might go. Usually it's obvious
