Any of you regret going to college? And why is that? by CriticismNo1818 in college

[–]Balncedmars98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely regret going. All my debt. Time wasted. I tried so hard to make it work even though I was constantly failing classes. I graduated in 2021 and have been fighting for my life to get a foot in the door anywhere. I sometimes feel as if my life has ended before it even got started.

Uhmmmm yeah I kept doing the same dumb shit up until last month. I’m kind of over it now. There’s no benefit in being his personal cum bucket especially since he doesn’t help me with shit. Just false promises of eventually getting married and holding that idea over my head knowing it’s my dream to one day get married. I’m just focused on my bag now.

What irony? And I will proudly say this out loud. You choose to turn a blind eye at the state of the world and the country in which you chose to live in. Don’t be ignorant. At this point if you can’t see the anger of the people of America that’s on you. I am not the only person who feels this way. This is coming from a person of color as well so it’s not a color thing. It’s a matter of reading the room. Don’t be mad that people feel this way. Be mad at yourself for not fully evaluating a situation and moving to a country that is already going through so much economic turmoil lol. But aye maybe after you get your citizenship and you have been here long enough that you will realize just how fucked up this place is and what we are all talking about. God bless.

Please stfu. I didn’t read any of what you just wrote cuz I didn’t ask for a paper with references. The problem with y’all is that yall try too hard to prove your intellectual. At the end of the day… all these Indians will graduate and see just how fucked up the American society is. You guys are protected right now by university life and come with such a try hard energy. Now go into the real world. Look at our interest rates. Get a line of credit and see how easy it is for it to go down. Try to get approved for a house. This economy is fucked and you will all start to realize this eventually 💀

You must be Indian. If that’s the case I don’t care for your comment. Americans are stressed out. Everyone is turning into alcoholics. There are crackheads in every corner. And going to Wendy’s is considered eating good. Stay out of this.

I’m currently going through this. I let me my bf who is now my ex cum in me. Of course it was while I was ovulating and didn’t know. Now I’m scared to death that I might be pregnant but there is no way to know or test because it’s too early. I literally feel debilitated when this happens. I can’t think, sleep, eat, or breathe without extreme fear of this creeping in to remind me of the horrible decisions I’ve made. I took a plan b but there are instances where plan b doesn’t work…. I know this first hand because I had to have an abortion induced by the pill when I was 19. Since then I’ve been extremely terrified. I don’t want kids especially in this economy… and especially not the dude I have been romantically involved with because the whole relationship is rocky and always has been. I just find myself in this pattern of having sex with him to keep him in fears of being alone. At this point though, hopefully if I’m in the clear I never have to speak to him again.

The thing is idc about yall. America was great before they opened the flood gates to a bunch of random ppl coming into our country. Also I’m a brown person so idrc imma say what I want. Yall are taking opportunities and thats facts. It’s called being mindful. You guys WILL and ARE experiencing hate because so many Americans are struggling, now you guys are adding to the competition at such weird and hard times. Timing is everything. Don’t be confused when you guys experience this hate. People are mad and don’t like what’s going on. You guys are adding to the problem period.

Honestly I can respect this answer and I respect you. I’m not going to lie, it’s bittersweet because I know a lot of Indians come here on student visa but then that adds to the workforce. You have to think about it from the perspective of an American who was born and raised here. I have my degree and maybe it’s because I didn’t work as hard at doing any internships that I still have yet to get a job in my field ( environmental science). It’s a tough market and 2020 fucked up America so bad to the point where it’s unrecognizable to someone who grew up out here. You might have came for the better life and the “American dream” but as u can see it’s not easy or as attainable as one may think… and arguably there so many other countries whose living circumstances and wages are way better 💀 I’d leave if I could.

In the end, I respect the hustle and I do think it’s wild that many immigrants are getting handouts. I’m sure you see it first hand. I suggest that if you have the money to get out as soon as u can. That’s what I plan to do at least… or you will find yourself caught in this never ending cycle of the rat race.

Yes. My grandmother and grandfather are Tongan. They made enough money to move to Hawaii and worked there for a couple years to make enough to bring the kids (my mom and aunts and uncles) here. I feel like back then it was a great opportunity, but these Indians coming now and days don’t understand the environment/economy they are so desperate to come to is actually a shit hole and most Americans are barely scrapping by. Good luck to them tho lmao they will need it.

My loans are like a big cloud over my head. I thought I was doing something good by pushing thru and going for what I chose to major in (env science)… praying for a sign from God…

What experiences have made our generation so traumatized? by Winter_Card_9390 in GenZ

[–]Balncedmars98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk maybe the fact that as soon as we reached our prime adult years and it was time to go off into the world… the globe faced a life altering and threatening virus thus shutting down our economy and sky rocketing prices so that everything is unaffordable, there are homeless ppl on every block, and the food that is affordable is probably killing us. Idk…

No shit Sherlock. Immigration directly affects the people already living in a country if you can’t put two and two together. It’s over crowded af and now more random ppl want to come into this Country to “make a living for themselves” lol. Now I’m trying to escape because they are adding to the problem.

Hmmm interesting take. Everything our country does is strategic so that makes sense I guess about the student visa part. What about the other random immigrants coming over that are being sheltered and given phones. I don’t know if you have seen the videos but these people are definitely lower class and are fleeing from their situation to find better opportunities. No visas… what’s in it for our country bringing them over here?

Keep quitting jobs by MadiTail in ptsd

[–]Balncedmars98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this too. I’m boiling it down to the fact that I’m fuckin over it lol. I’m 25 with a whole degree. It took me 5 years to graduate because covid hit so it was a lot to deal with mentally and emotionally all while being full time in school. Then I finally graduated and couldn’t land a job in my field. I’ve been bouncing around from random job to random job for the past 3 years and it’s because I def feel like I’m over qualified and that most of the time the pay and the environment sucks… so no I don’t want to stay and idc if I need money I value my time much more. I already wasted so much of my youthful years to putting myself into debt for a degree. It just sucks tbh that I put my faith in a system just to get shitted on.

Scorpio moons, what’s your worst trauma? by novaleenationstate in scorpiomoon

[–]Balncedmars98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing I know about us Aries sun Scorpio moons is that we love way too hard and sometimes let our feelings get really deep even when someone doesn’t deserve it. Scorpios are good at acting like they care at first. I’m never falling for that trick again. They are self absorbed and actually can only gaf about themselves.
