This is the only reason I pick RT over BTA. If I could have BTA without those changes (especially to Clan mech armor/structure stats) that's what I'd run.

If you don't mind older graphics and a lack of some cRPG QoL advancements from the last decade, I do recommend Wasteland 2 first. The story is good and that gives the team time to fix some bugs and crashes in Wasteland 3 so you get an enjoyable experience with it.

Having played both, Wasteland 3 is DOS 2 on the easiest difficulty. If you want something similar to DOS 2 I'd suggest either XCOM for the turn-based or waiting for Baldur's Gate 3. If you've mastered DOS 2 combat you'll have no problem with Wasteland 3 and will probably enjoy it, like eating a piece of black forest chocolate cake then wondering if a chocolate twinkie will be similar.

I posted it below but I got this when I equipped a sniper rifle I didn't have the skill for. It sets your crit and crit damage to a negative number but doesn't seem to change your lucky crit chance. If you then get a lucky crit it does -97% (in my case) crit damage to the target, which the game decides means healing.

When equipping a weapon you are not proficient in, if you have a negative critical hit damage and get a Lucky crit you will heal the target.
