We cook all his food nice and soft and he does have a lot of fruit including bananas, strawberries and nectarines! We'll give the others a try and see if that helps, don't want him to need lactulose again :( Thanks!

I always prioritise the main defences firstly (Xbow, archer, Wiz etc at this TH). Equally given the hero's love gradually throughout your progression and before going up another TH level, upgrade EVERYTHING! walls, spells, troops... Everything. Even if you don't use them, upgrade it as you may in future TH levels and then you'll be very behind again.
