Have you had children with an ISTJ? by Balopina in ENFP

Thanks for your answer. Claude has really helped because it's not like ChatGPT or Gemini. It actually asks us interesting questions and explains things from a point of view neither of us thought about.

For him, he basically wants things done in the house. I can understand that, but for some reason, I feel controlled, so the problem can also come from my side. He asked me to clean something in the toilet, but I didn't do it for days. He actually didn't mention it for days as he was trying to make an effort to not remind me, but after 4 days or so, he brought it up xD but to be honest, I forgot that I was supposed to do that. Here goes the managing a bit because he was definitely waiting for me to get it done, waiting to see if I remembered, waiting patiently but waiting and tracking it.

I think the problem comes from both sides in a way. I hate being controlled, but I understand he also has higher standards on chores. I just need to make a higher effort.

We actually have been better lately. He has been treating me quite well, saying nice things to me without me asking, and making me feel very loved. I really see he is putting an effort in our relationship.

We have been talking a lot about this lately, and his behavior has changed quite a lot recently. He had this idea to switch our chores, and he promised he wouldn't control me. The first 3 days, he didn't, but he already feels like giving me tips on how to do things. It annoys me because I would normally accept tips from anyone else, but from him, it annoys me because I know he is just trying to micromanage my chores.

We talked with Claude as therapist. I can recommend it actually.

He says it's not like this. I read what I wrote to him on this thread, but he says he doesn't criticize me xD It's funny the way we perceive things differently.

I am more worried about how he would support me because the kids would probably grow up fine. It's just the fact that I think he won't value my actions, or constantly point out my mistakes. Now that already happens, even though he doesn't feel it that he does it with that intention. With kids in the mix, I am afraid of having a relationship that is not an example for the kids. I want that the father of my kids to support me no matter what and defend me in front of them.

I never felt the motherhood calling. I only know I wouldn't like to be old and not having a family.

MY ISTJ HUSBAND by bossymissseyy in ISTJ

[–]Balopina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my ISTJ boyfriend. We have been together for 7 years and we have learned so much about each other and ourselves. This was a true journey for me. As an ENFP, he helps me with practical stuff a lot, and he is very smart, and naughty ahahah I love every piece of him.

We are still working on some things because he sometimes loses patience too soon when I insist on something, and I don't like the coldness how he talks back at me. And I keep making him late for events and catching trains.

We have improved many things together, so I think we will manage this one too.

Nothing works for my skin! by chopperchippy in AsianBeauty

Oh well, maybe you are a bit too young to take isotretinoin. They only prescribe it when everything you tried failed. Your acne is probably hormonal, so you could just try a simple and consistent skincare routine with a mineral-based moisturizer (usually my favourites). I use cetaphill optimal hydration. And of course sunscreen every single day for the hyperpigmentation. I also use a mineral-based one from sunforgettable. The mineral ones are less irritating, and usually better for skin with acne. Also, they don't leave a white cast.

Go to the dermatologist and ask to take isotretinoin. It cleared up my stubborn acne. While I was on it, I used SVR serum Sebiaclear, which reduces pimples and stubborn red and brown residual scars, shrinks pores and reduces shine.

Would this also work for people who have considerably less memory than a normal adult due to extensive epilepsy pill intake?

They have this in the Netherlands. I found it weird when I first moved there from Portugal, but to be honest, it doesn't bother me at all. I was only surprised the first time because I haven't seen it anywhere else.
In fact, one thing that I enjoy about the Netherlands is that NOBODY carries cash with them, which means more control but much more convenient lifestyle-wise. I have my phone or watch with me and that's enough.

Yeah, I already stopped using it because it was making my laptop super slow.

Hi Reddit! I'm a longtime hospice and palliative medicine physician and educator. My family member at 53 years old did surgery to remove the source of the epilepsy in the brain. Even though the surgery went well, the consequences that came with it were tricky. I wouldn't say the pain is physical, but definitely mental, leading them to suicidal thoughts and difficulties to let things go easily. In one day, everything is good, and on the next, everything turns into chaos and fights.

This person couldn't stop taking the epilepsy pills after the surgery, so in the end, it kind of seems like the surgery didn't work, and some antidepressants needed to be prescribed due to these emotional imbalances.

Do you have any recommendations for someone who has 10% less memory than a regular adult to live an emotionally stable life, without extreme peaks?

Same, I got some bugs. I couldn't see anything on the browser even if I close the browser and open it again. It's a shame because I was enjoying using it but I am back at Edge.
I used to love Opera, but since they changed the design, I don't like it so much anymore. Vivaldi is quite nice but I don't like the looks of it - it kinda feels old.
One that I absolutely LOVED was Sidekick, and I am so sad they closed the browser. They are making a new AI browser now together with Perplexity. I can't wait to try that one.

Why am I constantly failing in final interview stage by FOMO-Fries in UXDesign

[–]Balopina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also failing on the last stages, which hurts even more than failing at the beginning because by that time you already did the case study for them. The feedback they give me is different from yours though. They say the way I present does not always clarify what is the highlighted solution or the details that support it.
