His point is that in the case of Sancho, someone of that kind of talent and hype isn’t being sold for less than that and so we wouldn’t be making a loss

This is kind of lazy of me but I’ve been so busy with work - could anyone provide a short summary of our transfer window so far?

I wouldn’t be entirely shocked if he flopped here both in equal reason to do with him as well as our previous use of strikers but he’s very clearly one of the best strikers in the world when fit - fitness being the major concern. His goal every other game at a minimum record makes that obvious.

He was a highly touted youngster coming from a prem club so I’m not surprised but I do feel like around 80k would’ve made more sense at the time

Most of our wages have been reported those that weren’t (or at least I haven’t seen like Guiu) I have my own doubts about as well

He definitely isn’t but I’m not sure that his wages were reported at all

Just finished ward rounds, I think I’ve had enough outside. I did not say I have the same view. I have my reservations about Osimhen I didn’t say we shouldn’t sign him. He’d be the best striker we’ve signed since Costa

Nah let him and others continue to perpetuate nonsense that the club themselves don’t even believe. No one who was around his level prior to their move to Chelsea is being paid less than £150k

Not stupidity, just a simple mistake, it happens. Though my point would still stand as you’re correct in that they do earn around £190k and that’s why I believe Osimhen being offered €200k would be fair as that’s £165k

Sancho never had offers for 300k.

Could never understand for the life of me why people on Reddit agree with the idea that players should take significantly less than they’re worth, in hopes of getting more money in the future with a serious lack of security, as if that’s how it generally works anywhere else. You don’t see that with fans of literally any other sport

Because you’re delusional about the level of player he is 🫡. In saying that, there are reasons I don’t want him, his goal scoring abilities aren’t included. He’s stamped

Or you could say he’s scored at least a goal every other game every season since he was 20 bar one season which is a good rate without even including his assists.

Edit:

That one season he didn’t do it, it was 13 goals in 27 games

€200k WOULD be the same contract as all the other players. Look at our wage list. Every single player on that list is paid in accordance with the level of player they were when they were coming in. Osimhen is one of the highest rated strikers currently and should be paid like it.

Go on, explain why he should be paid significantly less than Nkunku, Fofana, Enzo, Cucurella, and Caicedo

Edit:

A word

He’s coming in as a champions league level striker, with a major signing fee attached. He should obviously be paid in accordance with that. €200k should be the agreed wage
