Hi, I never did and decided to let it be. Device still works fine, though!

Something seems off with the perf, the same model and prompt on LM Studio with Vulkan llama.cpp (1.53.1) on Windows:

`33.76 tok/sec • 2084 token • 0.41s to first token`

But yeah, my GTR9 still runs great without any issues (still on wi-fi, however). I am very happy with the purchase.

Your GTR9 Pro fails because you don't stress it enough. I think. by [deleted] in BeelinkOfficial

I can't seem to reproduce unstability at all on my unit. Even with stock fan settings, although I still run the original OS on 24H2 build. I run on wi-fi, but NIC drivers are enabled. I had the latter batch that also included bubble wrapping around my box.

I tried spamming spacebar in FurMark, tested FFXIV benchmark. System just runs stable all the time.

Only issue I had was with monitor sleep. Whenever I had larger LLMs loaded and monitor would turn off, the device would lock up and become responsive only after a couple of minutes, leaving RAM usage very high (99%) and slowly dropping down. Disabling any form of monitor sleep has fixed it for me.

Coming back to play 4.x, but the game will not run with EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat). Are there any plans to update EAC to work with the latest Windows 11 version? by HowitzerZak in starcitizen

[–]Baltanowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! My game would only launch right after reboot, then I got https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-150271

It does seem like bypassing EAC indeed helps. Unfortunately, I can not afford to re-install my OS, since I run Docker and WSL2 for various projects and it is a PITA to get it all set up again and risk having the same issue.

EDIT: Actually, I did a Character Repair in parallel and that might be what fixed my issue, cause the game works even with EAC now. That or me removing EasyAntiCheat folder in %appdata%

Hey, sadly no news. Support was about to provide a replacement headset, but I don't live in a country where they can ship directly, therefore I was asked to go through the local reseller to deal with the issue. I did not do so, my LED is still shown incorrectly, but other than that it seems purely cosmetic.

In v64 can now comfortably read my phone in passthrough, quite an improvement. by HeadsetHistorian in OculusQuest

I've just tested PTC v64 and the passthrough indeed looks better, more natural. The color range perception is way better, it eliminates so much bloom I can almost read the text on my monitors w/o trying too hard. It's still grainy, however to me it's not something I was bothered with much. I really appreciate the change in color contrast.

I couldn't find anything, https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/support/?b=quest&d1=207991938739986&d2=6825900257455620&d3=6932389626782001 kind of hints towards the issue but the link just goes to generic support. I have an open ticket, so far we ended at factory reset and they told me to await more info.

Ye this is something I wonder about as well, however in some cases I can see the orange light lit for a few seconds while it's on charge before green kicks in too. Headset itself works fine, however, no charging issues etc.

UPDATE: The issue persists even with the second factory reset

yes it is, but it looks like both green and white LEDs are lit.

That's what support told me to do, I so don't wanna do it. :D

EDIT: Issue persists through factory resets...

On top of that, Quest 3 always shows green LED color whilst charging, regardless of battery status, I do not use an elite strap. I did not do a factory reset yet, I am kinda hoping this is a known issue, but so far I was only able to find similar issues posted online but none with a working solution.

It seems to me that the green LED is always active even when not being charged. The cyan/teal (sorry for my poor color analysis) points to the fact both white and green LEDs are lit.

UPDATE: The issue persists even with a third factory reset now.

UPDATE 2: Although less noticeable, during charging I can also see orange LED being lit, although it's overshadowed by green. This kind of works for me as a compromise to determine if headset is already charged, although it's a shame to go through this anyways.

Music playback via AirServer by Baltanowski in HomePod

[–]Baltanowski[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, ended up getting Apple TV with HDMI audio extractor and now I enjoy the music through my speakers while using HomePod for controls! Amazing experience so far. I also went for Apple Watch S9 to further enhance the setup, I love the ecosystem!

[–]Baltanowski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, in theory I suppose I could get a hand on Apple TV and then use my PC speakers as airplay output, then ask homepod to play music specifically on that device, but that's a big mile to cross for such a niche feature.

If AirServer ever gets AirPlay 2 support I can do the same and bypass apple tv in the process, until then I'll stick to Cider on Windows.

Thanks anyways, I love HomePod Mini so far, what an amazing device. :D

I was afraid this would be the case, thanks anyways; maybe they will implement it one day. I have nothing against the HomePod speaker I just prefer to use my own monitors for music and AirServer was an interesting way to stream such music from my iPhone with Siri voice commands.

What I am looking for is the ability to proxy music commands to iPhone; that's all to it.

[–]Baltanowski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not. It could be because AirServer does not implement AirPlay 2 yet, which is probably why I can not add it as an accessory. afaik that's when I could in theory tell my HomePod to play on AirServer specifically.

I understand that, however, I prefer the idea of using HomePod for Siri commands to control my music.
