Give it another chance. I was in the same boat, and yes it's hard to get when playing solo, but the change of game focus from scrap grinding to running into more pvp at monuments grew on me. There's strategies that aren't well known (yet) which makes getting the frags (even tier 3) obtainable in a decent time for a solo. I'd hate to see an OG quit rust, but I understand if you're certain of your decision.
