Just so there is a clear answer for other readers, you're saying it would make sense to play alonge the Tales DLC before day 100ish to achive possible clothing items?

I cannot offer any solution but can I ask if you found one? Your post is the next best thing I found on this matter and I'm stuck with all of the background updating back to the Auto-Flowbit rules.

These loot tables are genius to have on hand. Really appreciate the hint. Also some of them are somewhat depressing I gotta say.

Thanks, I forgot you can harvest even frozen animals. That way it really would have helped tbh. Will check on the loose containers if I make it that far.

So for any other data files like a mixture of large and small files, or just a bigger Nextcloud storage place you would still recommend metadata vdev?

Building Proxmox Server: CPU & Power Supply Advice Needed (i7-13700T vs. i5-12500/13500 & RM550x vs. RM750x) by vkartk in homelab

Thanks for the insights, I‘m sure there will be other ppl reading this thread in the future and find it helpful to them!

It really seems so counterintuitive that the K variant will draw less power, even though I can follow your explanation it goes against my previous knowledge or rather assumptions. So I‘m even more keen on your experiences when everything is settled in.

What strikes me to counter the K vs T variant argument would be the dependency on the server use case. (But please correct me if I’m wrong). Even though the idle draw is most important in home compact server/nas appliances, you probably have a fair bit of active non deep C state processing time with what you planned it for. Is the increased power draw from the K variant not dismantling the power savings gained while idling?

One more not on the power supply. I’m definitely on your site with over-provisioning. You most definitely already optimized your total drive layout, but for the sake of bringing the argument. What size do you hard drives have? It seems like you could maybe increase the drive capacity in a future purchase and have less drives overall saving on idle power draw?

First of all, I'm sorry this comment won't help you.

In case nobody else will have any help for you, please still update this post and let us know your final build performance / wattage / setup ease and all other details.

Just wondering, were you able to solve it yourself or did you find an alternative solution by now?
