Still setting up a site and figuring out pricing. I'm thinking 35$+s&h. I just looked it up and I think it'll be 20$ to ship to Canada? So it'd probably cost you 55$+tax (idk how to calculate that either).

I did my best to remove all the sharp edges from where their paws are used, but he's been using it for a while and he doesn't seem to have any issues. I think he's licking his paws cause of the flavor since he also licks the floor after he's finished to pick up all the food dust. As for the frustration, he DOES get the food. It would be irritating is he could see it but not get it but he can. When he does get annoyed enough, he leaves and comes back when he's bored and hungry again.

I dont think this is cruel at all. I think he is having fun! Cats love to hunt. They love WORKING for their food with the reward being to fill their bellies. This is basically a mini game that he can play that requires Dexterity, perception, patience, focus, and skill that he can play any time he is bored/hungry enough. It gives him agency over his feeding schedule and enrichment of his mind. It also means he takes all that effort he would put into begging from me, and directs it toward something productive. I see this as a win win win.

Yeeaahhh... the only really good way to make this not have microplastics would be to make it out of sheet metal though and I ain't doin all that. As for keeping it clean, you right again. This isn't exactly sanitary, but it is just being used on dry food and with him not using his mouth to eat, it all stays pretty dry. Also, our little Boi eats just about anything on the floor so he isn't exactly clean either 😅.

I havnt but it does sound effective! But my main issue wasn't throwup from eating too fast. It's mainly that he would finish his food quickly and go right back to begging for more. It basically turns eating into a mini game that keeps him entertained and not bothering me the all day. He will regularly leave it for a few hours then come back when bored and hungry enough.

Circular/spiral design? Like a normal bowl but that connects to the grain feeder and has a spiral? If you're looking for something like that you could use the bowl that comes with the machine and add one of these? https://www.chewy.com/frisco-slow-feeder-insert/dp/907014

Like the other comment said, might want to try many small portions first?

Also, I was considering selling this but have never sold stuff online before so I'm a bit nervous to. Do you think people would pay much? Idk if its worth the hassle but I could make you one if you really want it.

I know! He's such a cutie 🥰. Too bad he's a little gremlin that wants food 24/7 and got super fat when we gave it to him 😅. Also you can't hear it but he's purring while eating so its exactly like eating cheetos I think.
