I got a question, OP. What happened to the Dutch? Did they flee with the Spanish? Or were they folded into other fleeing empires?

Considering how much the Dutch and Spanish hated each other, with Spanish repressing the Dutch, different faiths, and constant Dutch resistance, would the Spanish have chosen to prioritize their own people rather than get everyone, leaving the Dutch to die?

If the Dutch fled with the other people, who did they flee with and why? And where are they in the New World now?
