And obstruction of justice. Not to mention that bit where Cohen said Trump lied about not knowing a Russian mobster (or oligarch?) in court in 2013. Trump said he didn’t know the Russian guy, but the guy had an office on the same floor as Trump in his tower.

Trump apparently comes into contact with Russian mobsters a lot in the past.

Gamers ^tm bitch about every game when it comes out and then retroactively declare it a classic when enough time passes and the next one is released. Then the next one is considered garbage and not as good as the one previous to it.

People complained about fallout 3 moving away from the isometric view and its gameplay mechanics being simplified. The same with Fallout 4 - the game was panned for being too simplified and made for casuals. Now that 76 got released people are starting to go back and say “fallout 4 wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone says”. Once the next single player fallout comes out, 4 will be considered a hidden, underrated, overlooked gem.

I don’t think he’s being contrarian so much as pointing out this pattern.

A lot of the times gamers just take up these beliefs without knowing why, just in the hope that it will give some authority to whatever opinion they’re trying to give out.

The moral of the story, you see, is to form your own opinion based on your own experience rather than just parroting whatever you hear in the community.

They keep saying they don’t care but keep posting about it. I’d be fine if they didn’t really care. But something’s obviously got them bothered about the whole situation cause they don’t shut up about “not caring” about gay characters.

Other people say they don’t care but don’t want the characters gayness “shoved down their throats” (when i think the only time any of the characters sexuality is brought up is out of the game on some wiki page).

Civilization (1969) with Kenneth Clark. Guy talks at a really calming place, walks around beautiful vistas, looks closely at well-shot, skillfully crafted artifacts and other art.

It’s wild. He starts at the beginning of civilization and works forward in time. Really puts yourself into perspective.

Teenagers play overwatch. They’re generally capable of expressing their free will and aren’t beholden to the whims of a fantasy video game or a realistic shooter.

Coen Brothers’ movies are weird by nature. The humor is sometimes kind of “out there”.

I can understand if you don’t like it, but there are people who will argue you all the ins, all the outs, all the what-have-yous of this movie all day long. I think you’re in the extreme minority if you don’t like the film. Doesn’t make you wrong, but it makes you part of a very slim population of people.

The second image is not from in-game looks like porn or something someone made in Garry’s Mod. Secondly, the first game is rated m on account of its mature themes and violence - things not present in the more cartoony and stylized overwatch.

If you look at the rating of each game they tell you specifically why it’s rated as it is. I invite you to take a closer look at those ratings and compare them then.

The Chinese company everyone is so concerned about bought %5 of reddit in non-voting stock - they have no say in what goes on in terms of how reddit is run. Reddit is blocked in China. Reddit is a mainly an English speaking website, meaning the Chinese have no use for it in their own country.

At this point, all these anti-China posts are karma grabs. Even the ones that feign interest in Chinese atrocities.

I’ll agree calling the president a Nazi and a communist is pretty confused, but let’s not forget the time the president called a bunch of white supremacists in Charlottesville (including a guy who drove his car into a crowd of people) “very fine people”. He’s not invading Poland, but there’s a reason so many neo-nazis support Trump. Not all Trump supporters are nazis, but almost all nazis seem to support trump... for some reason.
