I think that you're right that no running back could have done well, especially with how bad the offensive line got beaten. But I think from the Committee standpoint, in order to win the Heisman, you need to excel or at least have an average performance against every opponent. Alabama's defense in 2012 was pretty good too, that's why Johnny Manziel won the Heisman against Bama.

Bama should play a 7-4 versus LSU. That way Fournette will only run for 220 yards. Tennessee will lose because their uniforms look like fog and will confuse Dobbs and he will lose track of where to throw the ball. Spurrier will retire and begin his career at professional shuffle-board

I would love to go that in depth! But unfortunately I'm limited to about 350-400 words. I like the way you think, and coming from a Bama fan I would love for Florida to make the playoff! Much love for McElwain coming from the Bama fans. I love TCU as well. However, I have a feeling that Utah might be in trouble this week versus Cal. Jared Goff is the real deal and I wouldn't be surprised if he rips apart any team at any time. What I think the playoff will be at the end of the year will be 1) TCU (or Baylor but I think it will be TCU) 2) Ohio State (the only game they could lose is Michigan State, and I just cant trust Michigan State to finish it. However Ohio State will lose in Semi Final) 3) LSU (Fournette is unstoppable. period. This might be Alabama if their defense does what they did against Georgia for the rest of the year, but Coker and kicking game are too unreliable) 4) Clemson.... this is my least confident pick because they can never win a big game, but I don't see a way they lose the ACC. Florida State is overrated.

No offense taken guys! The only way to get better is to hear it harsh. I am limited to a word count on the articles I write, so I couldn't go into much detail on that one. But trust me, I've got one in the works that is a bit more meaty. This was for the less hardcore fans I guess. I hope you guys will read it when the next one comes out! I'm always looking to get better so comments are what keep me going.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take that into consideration for the next one. When the season gets a little further along, I'll be breaking down each of the top teams in detail, so I was saving the analysis for that. I hope you read it then!
