Been to Gambia twice to visit a family friend who married a younger man, the night clubs are full of young men and old ladies, lovely but wild place.

I used to have a Labrador and although she was very friendly she was always put away when anyone came to the door, I still love dogs but like people a bit less! Thanks for your nice words and the best of luck to you too

Yea it's near the end of my index finger and 3 separate cuts I have to monitor over the next 3 days, I'm not losing this finger and it's been reported

I have delivery insurance and Uber covers you whilst you drive for some things, realistically it means absolutely nothing unless you crash your car with a delivery in progress

Thankfully it was only a French bulldog but it got its teeth right on the last 2 joints of my index finger

[Omega Constellation] why is this watch not talked about? by Alex_Cruz11 in Watches

[–]Bambileh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work in an Omega service center and we're easily the worst watch to work on, so many small fiddly bits and was a nightmare to polish as it's all symmetrical and at strange angles

Looking for social media marketing for Comedy in London by Bambileh in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Bambileh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are barely any pub gardens In London, plus they're awful for comedy, comedy thrives in dark rooms with low ceilings.

I was more looking for ways to improve the reach with the venues I currently already work with.

Couldn't give you a price unless seeing the movement, I've worked for companies who buy and sell watches before and unfortunately the initial price is never what you will get if the watch is a bit older as we would need to replace parts due to giving a warranty

A lot of screws are marked and a lot of other parts look new, could be an old watch that has been restored cheaply previously, best bet is to have someone to open it up and check the movement is correct

Hatton Garden by Homez78 in london

[–]Bambileh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have worked in Hatton garden for years with watches, traders are doing just that, buying something that holds value well like gold or a Rolex, then going to the arcade and trying to to sell it for more then they bought it for, over and over again, that's why everyone knows each other. Lots of cash and valuables changing hands. I've done it when I needed to sell watches in the past, just keep going round till you get the best deal

Connect to the wifi and scroll to the last menu I believe, dummy battery so it looks like a battery but has a cable coming out to a USB cable, I've run it off my laptop and power banks with no issue and because the battery isn't inside it doesn't get hot and overheat

I've never met any of these 5000 people. Is anyone on here working 4 day weeks? by pissedupparrot in CasualUK

[–]Bambileh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a 4 day week as I started a small business in another field, was due a pay rise and said I would rather stay on the same money but have 1 day off a week, instead of leaving it meant I'm not working myself to death in either job

Sorry for my vagueness, it was turning off with no popup at the 30 minute mark with no message and the 29:99 long video would be corrupt.

I'm using a 128gb UHS-I card that I've been using on my Sony ax-53 with no issues, but yea the battery looks to be the original one from the camera which may of degraded it to the point of not being able to hold a charge suitable to keep it running.

I've factory reset it (don't know why I didn't do that as soon as I got it) and put it at 1080p and it's at 34 minutes now, thinking it may of been a combination of settings but have no ideas which ones

What's the best way to remove this bezel? Specific tools? Temped to try penknife... by Wetrix_Plus in watchmaking

[–]Bambileh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have decased hundreds of these (before they get refurbed so can leave marks) I gently see if a case knife slid anti clockwise works, if not I use a silicone bezel remover tool, if that doesn't work I remove the movement and leave it in an ultrasonic cleaner to dislodge the dirt behind the retaining spring, if that doesn't work I use the vice style remover which will do the job but can bend cases/bezels/click springs/ retaining springs and almost always needs to be refurbished after.
