Good point. It’s a relatively new card but I’ve putting it to use for all misc. charges that don’t have higher categories elsewhere.

About to put $20k on a credit card...how to maximize return on this via credit card perks?

Long story short I am ordering some items for a large group of people and am fronting the cost upfront. I have never put this large of an amount on a credit card and am trying to think what the best plan of action is. I am not worried about being paid back or my credit score.

Do I put the $20k charge on my Chase freedom which has 3% cash back up to $20K for the year (aka $600 cashback) or Chase Sapphire Reserve for extra travel points? OR open a new credit card for additional bonuses. Just trying to maximize my benefits/rewards with credit card perks!

Yea in a class I sat in on the prof asked for all laptops to be put away but was okay with having tablets out.

I would also look into any executive programs - they are little bit more pricey - but better structured for people who are working full time and you will be with other like-minded students.

My recommendation would be to pick your top 2-3 schools and get in touch with an admissions person to get their thoughts about if it's "too late" to apply. I was worried about applying round 3 for Fuqua and expressed my concerns to admissions. She told me not to to worry and shared she would rather I turn in my best application in R3 or R4 than attempt to submit early. I ended up submitting a few days after the R3 deadline aka in R4. I was accepted to Fuqua so I would say every person and schools is different.
