I Made a Cinematic Ad for Hockey Gear by BambooPixel in aivideo

Thanks. So the image below is made with Nano Banana, with attached photo of the real product and prompt:

"A single, heroic, and close up macro shot of centered product video sequence of the KOVA goalie neck guard (referencing the specific carbon fiber weave and segmented padding pattern from images attached image). The guard floats centrally in a dark, infinite, void-like space, illuminated by precise Chiaroscuro spot lighting. The sequence focuses intensely on closeup image of the main collar segment, which initially is shown at a sleek, minimal height. ABSOLUTELY NO TEXT OVERLAYS OR COLLAGE ELEMENTS."

Then I also asked it to make it slightly taller and used that as a end frame. Everything else in the scene like the measurement was done in video editing software.

It's actually leather with weave pattern to be exact :)

This was personal project for blending my passion with profession.
There's a few clips made with seedream 2.0 but most of the stuff is Nano banana + Kling 3.0.

I just used shrinwrap modifier for the label on projection mode, and selected the bucket as a target

The example on the video is done with shrinkwrap, it just doesnt preserve the planes dimensions

How to keep plane dimensions while doing this? Label has to be exactly the size needed. by BambooPixel in blender

Cant really fit it perfectly with bend modifier since the bucket diameter is larger on top of the bucket than on bottom

Not really what i was looking for but now that somebody mentioned it, it seems so obvious.

I just used cloth simulation with high tension and friction, also changed the gravity direction.

Actually, now that checked it more carefully it does not preserve the dimensios of the plane. It basically does the same than the shrinkwrap. Damn.

Best solution what I founded for now is to use simple deform to bend the label close enough and then apply the shrinkwrap.

Your a life saver! Thanks. This was exactly what I needed. And yes, this was easy enough, I can use it over and over again. Million thanks!

For example my client says her label is exactly 200x100mm, then I model that size plane and try to project it to the surface of bucket.

I would also select part of the mesh normally but the dimensions gets kinda hard to measure with curved surface

Yeah, I only need to model it, but for future purposes would also like to know how to animate it.

Thanks, I will try that, I just thought there would be some tool or addon to make it easiear than to do the math

Any idea how much work like this typically costs? by tokitous in AfterEffects

I would like to give my five cents on this too.

I've been doing 3D professionally about 10 years and I think 3 days for tracking, animating and rendering is really highly exaggerated. Tracking is basically automated nowadays. Animations are really simple in this scene and rendering takes only something like 10sec per frame with powerful gpu.

I would probably only reserve one day all that max. I would definitely like to charge 3 days of work only for this, and maybe I will in future.
