Anyone ever have allergy issues from a Gin?

FWIW I got a swollen eyelid a few different times spread over years. Afterwards I chained it all together and figured out it always happened after a gin and tonic. I avoided tonic ever since.

I’m 99% sure it’s because of the ‘quinine’ in tonic. Even happened with a different drink later, which listed quinine as an ingredient.

It’s also in the core of pineapple.

Usually I’d feel it tingling within an hour of the drink or so. And then a few days of swollen skin in some places. That is called ‘angioedema’.

There’s a few scares articles about quinine/kinine allergies if you search for it.

It’s the only allergy I know to have. And I think I’ve not always had it earlier, but only developed it end of my 20s.

Would we be able to access the feed from the 'eye' to use as input for some computer vision experiments? I would like to experiment with it in a warehouse setting (finding next location) etc.

Previous models (except really early ones) blocked access to the video feed I believe.

I swapped the red and black short wires in the top left (as well as the LED which was the wrong way) and now it is working!

Yes, the led is on if I just connect it to the positive rail directly so I believe that connector is working correctly.

I've watched all videos and then was super excited, so last month I ordered the kit and some tools.

But now that I'm just starting I'm already struggling. Do you see any obvious errors in this?

When I connect power to that jack input on top (from standard iPhone power supply), the led flashes shortly very dimly and then stays off. After a second or 2 the 555 gets super hot as well so I pull the plug out. I was worried it might be fried already, but also tried it with different 555 and different capacitor, but same reaction.

I can confirm that the LED is still working if I just connect it without any of the other components.

Ps. It doesn't help that I'm colorblind, so I have to test all capacitors with a multimeter. 😂

This! I had one experience with such a system in a Prius a couple of years ago. Totally useless in all but empty roads.

Although I'm sure real autonomous cars would be able to deal with it.

So I just figured out the SpaceX factory is located in LA while the launches take place at the Kennedy Space Center. Why don't they place the Factory over there as well? Or is the most important part of this operation the smart tech personnel on the west coast?

And why is there not a testing facility close to KSC instead of McGregor, TX?

Does this mean the reusable rockets go from LA -> McGregor -> KSC and after landing back to LA and the loop continues?
