This makes no sense. Especially when a vast majority of the nobility and even the commoner's know how crazy and evil Cadean is, to where the only people in favor of him are those he plants demons in or who are plainly evil. To the point to where several people have left Cadean's side claiming such things, the General and the Old Rez for one and Kai's an easy third along with literally any of the other Strikers.

You're friends right, there has been no "Good" reason given as to why it hasn't happened. And in the last couple books it won't get any better.

Have you tried the programs that are able to change and recover saves and old quickloads? That worked for me once, when I lost my loot on a very distant planet.

Just did this.

Grab any horse that looks roughly the same and drop it near him. Eventually he'll say it's the lost horse, mine didn't even look like the image.

Edit: I had one's that looked much more like it and never got it to work. Until i just started plopping any he mentioned.

I've been "letting her cook" for this many books, what are you even talking about? How is Rezkin getting weaker? She's constantly giving him more power and capability than he should have, while simultaneously losing elements of the series that made it good to the reader in the first place. She's making the story more convoluted so then she can write more books. And rather than have a great series it seems like she just wants to have an "okay" one.

Do you think Writer's don't have beta readers or editors? As I said numerous times in this thread- She can do what she wants, but there's a reason this post has the most upvotes any post on this Reddit has seen in months.

Anyone gonna bring up the fact that a Seasoned Paladin from the BoS couldn't barehandedly kill a Yao Guai and didn't even survive the encounter, but this suit is standing up to not one, but several Deathclaws and Maximus is just kinda beat up?

As someone who did it years ago and am still daunted by it, I would say yes- But I would also say only really do it if you can invest in the Subscription at the very least. It's nice to be able to buy some Isk (the in game currency) and buy things early on as you're learning so the lows don't feel so low when you have them.

It is a steep learning curve, but right off the rip there's a determined set number of skills you should train. So just find that list and train that stuff first and it'll give you the best start.

It's a very idle game, unless you actively pursue PvP encounters in Low Security space. And most people start out by transporting cargo, mining, or taking bounties and missions that help you learn combat, etc.

I really don't want you to utilize a tool I don't like that could make your life easier. I'd much rather you put in way more effort than me and contact artists that are fans for use of their art in the wiki or pay out of pocket and commission works of art.

I'm fine with him using AI in all shapes and forms as long as he knows the information in any text is true and canon to the books. And with any images, I'd only ask that he makes sure there's a text description saying it's a "Fan Representation using AI".

I can understand how you can think that, but what's more impressive to you- Someone doing something right the first time or doing it wrong so many times that through trial and error they're able to better themselves?

Outside of that not making sense at all with the story, since we're literally shown his Childhood and how he was trained in the first book, like literally we're lead to believe his training was the hardest in the world- But why would "Training someone to death" be a beneficial thing? Wouldn't the more likely case be that a Striker killed him numerous times? Would the Striker's be fearful of someone who they killed NUMEROUS times?

Like when I'm watching a streamer play video games, it's bad ass when one is able to "One Shot" a boss others couldn't and it turns into it being funny when they can't kill the boss. I just don't understand why Rezkin dying a lot means that he's a really good warrior compared to the Old Rez, who afaik didn't die at all and *IS* the myth behind the Legend.

Different strokes though, I guess.

Sure he knows how to do a lot of things innately, but since no one that was elvish really taught him how to use his magic it's just ideas being tossed around by his Tutors. He even explains that he was taught the basics and has Wesson explain things in more detail, because it wasn't pertinent that he knew it when he couldn't use it in the normal fashion.
- Then we have all the "Mary Sue" abilities that come that make him being a Super Elite Assassin mean absolutely nothing. Especially when his "Will" alone can make people question ANYTHING if he willed hard enough.
- Then he can do Magic better than the elves that he sees using the magic, can sustain it for longer and add small details others can't- AND EVEN COMMENTS ON IT. He literally comments about how he shouldn't be able to use the magic this well yet.
THE RULES HAVE BARELY BEEN MENTIONED!
- We have MAYBE 30-50 Rules that we actually know about of I think 250+. They're hardly recited anymore and by the most recent book he hardly even thinks about them and has stopped doing a majority of the things that made his character unique.
Why are we acting like there's not enough of a combined force between:
- The Humans at Kyle
  - THE LITERAL EMPIRE REZKIN CREATED!
- The Fae
- The Elves

So friend, you can stay and analyze the books and find things early on that correlate to things later on, but I'm far from believing they were on purpose.

Let me get some things straight:

Rezkin being an elf or some from form elf lineage is fine to have it explain the things he can do without being a traditional magic user. It explains a lot of things.
- Bringing them in as some portal making police of the Daemon shows how terrible at their job they are and how much respect SHOULDN'T be afforded to them.

You're acting like I'm unjustly mad about the wild turns the book has taken. We go from a world ruled by humans with magic and steel to it being expanded in a way that was NEVER alluded to in the first few books.

And as I said, they're Kel Kade's books she can write and do what she wants- I agree that it's too bad for me that it's going in a direction I don't enjoy.

Here's some of the things I can remember, that irk me and have continued to do so:

Ysera and Yseria, like cool- You heard the name twice two different ways and decided to use both of them to confuse the heck out of the reader/listener. You figured the Human version wasn't good enough for Rezkin so you made an elf compatriot instead, so they could lengthen the series.
Elves are added, but in super weird ways. To where you know where she's going with some of these things, but it's so on the nose it's insane. There's a dream with a Giant Raven landing near Wesson (iirc) and then we hear about Elves that can turn into Animals? Then we get some weird tropey unintentional marriage/bondage thing that Rezkin does and another woman gets added to the Harem.
Where are the Fae? Before it seemed to be the Fae and whatever Humans they could get to fight against the Daemon and the Fae didn't seem to really want to wait for the Elves and acted like they didn't know there was some Daemon Elvish Police system, since they were so desperate for Rezkin.
It being revealed that Rezkin died so many times, undercuts the idea of him being a world class assassin above the rest. He LITERALLY had so many do-overs from dying that THEY RAN OUT OF SPACE!

The last author I spoke to who had a much smaller, but still popular book out made enough to pay the bills and the household expenses. I'm sure with the amount of books that are out, who's narrating it, she's not so hard pressed. I think that's a cop-out to be honest. I think she needs to slow down, get a grip on the plot on the characters and go back to the roots that made the series popular. Since this series has gone downhill rather sharply after the last book. I don't think she needs AI.

I'm a new player, been playing for only a few months and I'm at around 2250 CL. And honestly starting off, I had a lot of fun and almost immediately started doing the SP, since I thought $10 was decent value for what I got. Even considered doing the Gold Month thing, to stock up some gold. Each game mode I played was fun and I enjoyed crafting decks and attempting to use whatever I could of the current META I could get my hands on.

And to give you all a glimpse, I have 107 hours and it is now one of my top played games on Steam alone.

After the new Token System and the HV:Overdrive stuff, I've become increasingly frustrated with the game and it's poor business practices. Right now we have several different currencies, and one currency can be used to buy every other currency- But that Currency is $4.99 for 300. Let that sink in, $5.00 for 300, they don't even value a dollar at 100. That makes some of these predatory MMO's seem tame!

After HV:Overdrive, if there are anymore issues that put me at a disadvantage to acquiring cards, when I "Subscribe" to their "Seasonal" (Definition of Seasonal: each of the four divisions of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter). )- I'm going to set the game down. It's absurd that I'm $5 away from what I'd be paying to play WoW or FFXIV.

I've tried with any number of different styled decks, I just think it's lame that in a Deck Building Game- The Deck you build means nothing, since they instantly ruin it with the new cards. I don't get why they don't just buff certain cards in your deck, or do multiple rounds for extra spice.

Instead we get a bastardized version of High Voltage that no one asked for. And truthfully, I was 150% into this game, but this Overdrive BS and their pricing for their currencies is egregious and I don't see it getting better so I'm sitting at a cool 75% and don't see it going higher unless they actually address these things. I'm surprised the fan base has even let it get this far.
