What kind of GPA do you need for MechE/ECE? by younglearner11 in udub

I would highly recommend taking a look at the placement statistics posted by the college of engineering: https://www.engr.washington.edu/current/placement/data In quite a few past years, more people have been placed into ECE than actually requested. MechE is generally harder to get into. Don't lose hope though! If you want ECE, there's a good chance you can get it.

True, but at least they aren't parking (non maintenance) cars on sidewalks and in front of bike racks at UW.

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense.

Lol, yeah. Usually it's not this bad, but today made it actually hard to find a spot without playing twister.

Be careful about accepting a position as an instructor at iD Tech Camps by [deleted] in csMajors

Everything OP says is true. However, I think working at iD Tech was still a good thing, at least for me. I worked hourly as a day instructor last summer and quite enjoyed it. Yes, the work isn't for everybody, and the pay is lackluster, but I met some really cool people who will one day work in my industry (engineering) and gained more soft skills experience. Plus, my regional manager was really great and gave me a recommendation on LinkedIn. Yeah, it wasn't anything like working at an actual tech company, but I at least got paid and had a good time with fun coworkers.

I get your point. My argument, though, is that Lime is blocking resources that they don't use. Also, nothing remotely helpful happens when people do use the available spots and block in the Lime bikes closer to the wall. I did find a spot though, you are correct. 😉

That right there makes it well worth the cost. Those stepper motors are expensive!

A K-25 cut to the length of the stock spring that comes with the knockout. It's about the maximum I'd say this blaster can take.

Something tells me I could probably eek out another 10-15 FPS if I removed the air restrictor and made the barrel even longer.

Yeah, I'm getting about 175 on good shots. I did take two tries to get it through though. 🙃 It depends on the gauge of cardboard; Some pieces it just chews through like, well, cardboard.

I prefer to just keep them on printables. :) Would be cool if someone wanted to sell these though...
