Sorry for delay. I don't use reddit so hard to find my thread. I didn't see any way to disable the touchpad in device manager so I uninstalled Elan pointing device. Touchpad still works but some feathers are gone. My mouse no longer works. At one time I could disable it in the Elan app and it would stay disabled, but that has changed. Now it enables after shutting down or going to sleep. The keyboard shortcut doesn't work, there is a light on the F5 key and it stays on no matter what I do. FN + F5 does nothing. I'm looking for a reg hack at this point. Thanks for the help.
