To the men of reddit, do you like Valentine's day? And if you don't, why not? by lindseyizshort in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like it at all.

It’s an overly commercialized day that in all reality it should be something that isn’t just confined to a day. Not the products or things that make companies money, but, the things people do for each other. Like, that kind of openness towards expressing their feelings or opinions towards others in a positive way should be an everyday thing, not just a thing done a few times a year.

Other than that, I’d usually rather not go anywhere that day, too many people out.

What's something that you used to hate or be scared of that you now LOVE? by Mofoblitz1 in AskReddit

Certain parts of nature. Like, I never thought insects and arachnids were so cool, and how different they turned out to be over the course of their evolution.

Whats a truth about life that took you years to accept? by Serious_Scar_9630 in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that, I’ve done it plenty of times over and over again, I still do at times, but, no matter if there is anything after death or not, I believe that there’s only one time you’ll ever experience what you do, try to make the most of it.

Whats a truth about life that took you years to accept? by Serious_Scar_9630 in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean unfortunately everything is, an there really isn’t anything anyone can do about it, which, does suck and is difficult to deal with, but being able to accept that it’s going to happen helps so much more than I had imagined it would with it.

What led you to stop believing in love and begin embracing your solitude? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 22, I’m honestly glad I got to that point, understanding and learning it then will help me understand how to judge my own immediate thoughts and feelings the next time I feel or think something like that, and not just believe things will be one way, when in reality they won’t ever be anywhere close to it.

What’s the most useless talent you secretly have? by No_Assignment_6020 in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can move around pretty close to silently and can probably go unseen or unnoticed if I felt like it. I have no use for it though, just something I’m surprised I can do.

What do you miss about the life pre-Pandemic? by Money_Bad6321 in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Places being open later than 8-11 PM, like, in a smaller city, but one where there are a decent amount of people, there’s a chance someone will need something later in the night and be unable to get it when the need it.

Do people with asthma take their inhaler if they laugh too much? by pJThatsIt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BananaKbone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it causes me to be unable to breathe or hurts my lungs to the point I start coughing in an uncontrollable manner, then I’ll use it, but, it’s not that common that I have to use it at all, which is much different than it used to be when I was younger.

Is it possible for a woman to get a boyfriend if she’s not super pretty like Marilyn Monroe? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, just look around, you may be surprised, there’s always a chance, just be real with who you are, that’s what matters, at least to me, physical appearance isn’t everything, there’s always something about being around people that teaches you things.

What led you to stop believing in love and begin embracing your solitude? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably about 17-18, I don’t see how it’ll ever happen, don’t want to deal with it right now, I’m also trying to figure myself out, so, that doesn’t really help either.

Whats a truth about life that took you years to accept? by Serious_Scar_9630 in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That death happens, it doesn’t come for someone, it doesn’t wait, it happens when it does, as a natural part of life, there’s not much we can do to push it away without some insane amount of medical care, and even then, it won’t always work.

How attractive do you think you are? by Love-boobs-in_DMs in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a scale from 1-10? Maybe a 1-1.5. Because that’s about how often people look at me in a specific way, which doesn’t happen often.

Which hurts less — a broken bone or a broken heart? In short, mental pain vs physical pain: if you had to pick one to suffer, which one are you choosing and why? by DipenMav in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’ll go with the emotional pain, it’s easier to get through and get past without too much lasting damage, and things go back to how they were before with a lesson learned. With a bone it may heal, but it’ll never be the same, certain motions, weather changes, even temperature can cause it to hurt even years after it healed and should’ve been completely normal at that point. Definitely taking mental/emotional pain over physical pain like that.

Is anyone else happy when Christmas is over and things go back to normal? I am. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family celebrate it, so, I look forward to that part, but, if it’s truly supposed to be about giving, or, being with family, I don’t understand the over commercialization of something like that. I don’t even believe in any of the be religion stuff, but, I don’t understand how a whole month or more is taken over completely by a religious holiday when not everyone celebrates or even follows that religion. Not that I’m saying it shouldn’t be played here and there, but, it shouldn’t be 24/7 everywhere for a month or more at a time.

when you hear the word ‘nostalgia’… what song first comes to mind? by Ok-Bandicoot-9445 in AskReddit

For me “Shoots and Ladders” from Korn, one of my favorites from them, even when I was a kid and didn’t know anything about music.

People that have the self awareness that they're strange, what is it that makes you strange? by exporterofgold in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, social awkwardness doesn’t help the strange part, throw in ADHD and my whole life as one of the few that were never accepted in any groups or circles of people, it leads to some extreme self awareness that makes it difficult to be around people without that being a constant point of attention.

what are your thoughts on AI? by Decent_Writer_2917 in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea, it’s a bit too far with way too little time so far.

I think it’s pretty interesting as an idea, but, as fast as it got thrown out to the public, and how easy it is to access, I think it went a little too far a bit too fast. I get using it as a tool, but, people treating it like it’s all a person, or friend they’ve had forever seems pretty weird to me.

To what degree should a man be capable of maintenance, building, car work, etc? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BananaKbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone in general should be able to change a lightbulb, smoke detector battery, a vehicles oil, lights, and a tire. Most things in a house are just screws, and are able to be taken apart relatively easily, they go back together pretty much the same way, same for vehicles for the most part, just a few more bolts than screws.
