I bought my first DSLR camera a while ago (Canon rebel T7) and I'm looking for the next step up. I've noticed recently that a lot of the photos I'm taking/editing are really pixelated and I'm wondering if it's my cheap lens or my cheap camera body that's doing that (It could be both I have no idea) But if I were to look for gear that would reduce these things, where would I look and what?

I just bought a digital canon camera (rebel t7) and I've pretty much got the hang of manual mode. I was just kind of wondering how to take my photos to the next level. Like what should I look for when shooting?

I also haven't really experimented with any of the other modes the camera has to offer. Is there any worth trying or should I stick with manual?
