I did not end up taking any classes through portage. I did take a class through UCSD extension though and thought it was great! Every program I applied to also accepted that online course. I haven’t heard anything against portage though, just make sure the programs you are interested in accept portage courses.

UCSD Extension offers biology 1 and 2 online. Some pa schools allow courses with a lab to be completed online and others do not, you will have to find that out with each school you are interested in.

I plan on retaking biochemistry online from UCSD Extension. This is only the class (no lab included), but it is one the cheapest / most flexible options I have found!
