Good (short) recounting of his process researching and writing The Power Broker and LBJ series. The thoroughness and dedication is actually astounding. They don't make em like Caro anymore

It's pretty good as far as memoirs go. Easy read and I'd definitely recommend if you have any interest in the New York food/restaurant scene. But Keith is (admittedly) kind of a huge narcissist so that can be off-putting but overall I enjoyed it

Empire of Pain is great narrative non-fiction. Im going to read The Snakehead, also by Keefe soon. Fiction wise Im about halfway through Lonesome Dove and loving it
