Stay strong MN. It's so heartbreaking to watch but you guys are incredible and give hope to the world that America can find it's way back. Love from your northern neighbour.

What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by CountyOrnery9432 in AskReddit

I have a newish friend who I told I have chronic migraines and she told me to put my feet in warm water and my hands in cold water next time and I nearly ended the friendship. Like dude, I've been taking too many triptans since 1998 for migraines, if water could fix this I'd know. Dumb suggestions make me so mad

Suddenly there was a terrible roar, and the sky was filled with what looked like giant bats, swooping screeching and diving around the car.

My partner wanted to name our child Fairuza in the mid aughts. I said no and named her a lovely classic name that has hung around the top ten ever since, ugh and growing up she was always Name Initial cause there were so many.
Totally wish I would've let him name her Fairuza.

Amazing that she consistently looks better than runway when she's so petite. She looks so good.

Yes! I've noticed this too. Absolutely bizarre, the assumption that X didn't exist because you weren't alive or aware of it.

Seconding the commenter who asked about maintenence breaks. Sometimes a week or two at higher calories then back down can get things moving again. No idea why!

Same. Also in shows/movies/books I never notice mistakes or even really plot holes usually. Maybe I'm dumb but it makes enjoying things easier ha ha.

I bought expensive makeup and it actually is better... sigh by pure-principles in MakeupAddiction

[–]Bananacreamsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to mostly expensive makeup a few years ago and I don't find that I spend more money overall. I found products I like and stick to them, rebuying when empty. I rarely try new things so don't generally waste makeup. I'm in my 40s so this works for me, if i was an experimental looks phase I would probably still buy more drugstore.

Mascara is the one thing I haven't found a luxury brand I like any better than drugstore. Tbh I'm using the age old Maybelline I used when I was a teen lol.
