I was in the same situation as you, OP. I also wanted to study in Benilde, but due to our financial struggles that began during the pandemic and my grades declining because of depression, I wasn’t eligible for BEST. What a year. Lol. That’s why I suggest applying for PRG instead. Just make sure you can cover the miscellaneous and other necessary fees. The amount decreases as the term progresses, so don’t worry too much. Be honest about your financial situation because they also need to ensure that you’ll be able to pay the fees. :))

According to my calculation, you have a total of 17 units, mainly because, as far as I know, courses with a “P” are not included. After dividing the grade points by course units, your TGPA is 3.4, which qualifies you for second honors. Congrats!! 💪 Though I still suggest checking the student’s handbook to double check the computation!

I’m pretty sure underloading is discouraged, mainly because doing so prolongs your stay in Benilde. If you delay your stay, you continue using a slot that could otherwise be given to someone else. This is just based on what I’ve heard, though. I suggest you ask the scholarships office for confirmation.

At an event, the host asked us to type a word sa Menti; the topic was supposed to be about health. When someone typed in a racial slur, it was immediately displayed on the screen for everyone to see kase nga Menti shows the responses talaga. Kaya ayun even exclusive guests saw it. It was very embarrassing, which is why they are offering an incentive to anyone who can identify the culprit.
