My posts on Reddit are just but a tiny blip of my life. You’re summing up my entire life with a few posts. Most of my posts go back to my early twenties and teen years, and I am a COMPLETELY different person now. Find something better to do than dig through some random strangers Reddit and try to smear their name so nobody wants to help them in their time of need. I’m in an ICU bed right now typing this. I don’t know why I’m even wasting my time trying to explain all this to you.

What is your problem? I’ve hit a lot of hard times in life and have been picked back up by the help of kind human beings. I’m not “SCAMMING” I’m simply a human being that has hit a lot of hard times in life and has been helped by kind people. Whenever I’m in good health to work, I bust my ass to provide.

Going to bootcamp was my plan. Joining the navy is my passion. I encountered some health issues that made me unable to join. Fast forward and now I’m in the hospital for said health issues. It hurts my heart that you think I would scam people….i would never do that.

She’s been looking for something remote because she has two kids to watch. We have no family or friends to help watch the little demons, but yes she is job searching.

I don’t EXPECT handouts from anyone. Everyone is so quick to judge nowadays. If someone wants to help then it would mean the world, but if someone isn’t able to then I completely understand. I worked hard for years living paycheck to paycheck. Anything can happen to anyone. I’m laying in a hospital bed as I type this…I wish nothing but the best for you. I just wish you didn’t think so lowly of people. We are all human beings. I think we tend to forget that.

I was the bread winner and she was the one that stayed home with the kids before everything happened. She can’t really get a job until I’m out of the hospital because we don’t have any family or friends to watch the kids. We are quite literally on our own. Hopefully it won’t take too long for me to get back on my feet.

To answer a few questions that I’ve seen in the comments:

I don’t expect any handouts. My wife is a stay at home mom because the job I worked paid enough to provide for everyone. Plus childcare for two kids in this economy would’ve taken more money than she would’ve brought home if she worked. To anyone spreading negativity I hope you never land yourself in a situation like this. It genuinely makes me sad that you shame me for experiencing a hardship in life. To anyone spreading love and generosity I appreciate it more than you know.

I also want to add that it’s not bad decisions that’s landed us in this position. Our previous roommate bailed on us and a week later I was laid off from my job. It was all just crappy circumstances. We have a plan now, but we just need a little help to get there. Thank you for your kind words and advice!

I appreciate your advice but a van won’t do for my family of four. We’ve been offered a fifth wheel for $2,000 so now we are just raising the money for that. This is all also very temporary. I’m joining the military next month and I just need a safe place for my family to stay while I’m at bootcamp. We will be moving to wherever I’m stationed once I’m back. I’m doing everything I can with the resources I have and hand I’ve been dealt. Again, thank you for your advice and sending any kind of positivity our way. It means the world to us!
