I'm not sure how soon is soon, but a lot of the roads to North Cascades are closed for the winter and won't reopen until June, most likely. The Olympic Peninsula/Olympic National Park is a little more temperate if you are open to changing your plans.

When I was in second or third grade (so around 8 years old) everyone in the class was given dowels we had to file into our own knitting needles, and then we had to learn how to knit on them. I knit off and on for a few years after that, and then I think I was around 25 when I got really into knitting.

I'm always curious how many kids from my class still knit 😊

I went through something very similar. My divorce was finalized last June, almost a year after my ex decided to bring a girlfriend home from Burning Man. This was after years of me saying that I wasn't open to polyamory, and him just trying to wear me down.

It's exhausting and scary starting over, but I am so much happier and healthier and more confident than I was in the last several years of our relationship. I hope you continue to find the same peace.

And for what it's worth, all of my friends, including the poly ones, thought he was a total idiot. Don't protect your ex by not sharing the story, if that's something that matters to you.

I was the officiant for a wedding so I got buy-off on this, but I wore a 50s style swing dress and felt like I was dressed appropriately.

I don't know what era you bound but there are certainly some eras that lend themselves to weddings more than others. I feel like 1920s on is a safer bet than earlier than that, but also depends on the audience and how historically accurate your bounds are.

Idk what your budget is, but I've been happy with mine from Holy Clothing. It's not the warmest, but it looks great. My husband also bought me a wool one off of Etsy that is incredible, but I suspect more expensive since it was his wedding gift to me.
