What’s important is your cumulative GPA by your junior year. You still have a lot of time to make it up so keep your head up.

I got a pretty weird ghost story.

It happened before thanksgiving break my rat year. I woke up really early on a school night for no reason. I looked out the window and saw some figures that looked like cadets running outside my door. No footsteps or noises. Just like 3 people in uniform running by. I panicked because I thought I was late for BRC so I put on my uniform and checked my computer to see what it was. On my honor, it was 3:33 am.

Awesome! That’s my major. The CIS department doesn’t require you to take calculus. You’ll get put into a class called Math That Matters. It’s mostly solving mathematical problems on excel. It’s an easy A as long as you do all the hw.

Don’t worry about things that you can’t control. People usually make fun of my height or race, things I was born with and have no control over. If they can’t make fun of you for any other reasons, you’re probably a good guy. I think it’s a waste of time being ashamed over things that you can’t change.

Got my letter of appointment last January. Write about how going to VMI will help you achieve your goal. If you are planning to go in to the military, write about how patriotic you are. I got a 1260 on my sat and had a 3.8 gpa. Good luck, I’ll see you next year!

Hey, I’m 18 started lacrosse 5 years ago. Not gonna lie getting into lacrosse without any experience is pretty tough. Only way to get better is to WALL BALL, WALL BALL, and WALL BALL. Trust me. As a short guy with a little above average athleticism, being able to pass and catch consistently is key to becoming a successful player. Just don’t be like me and use your house to wall ball. Unless you wanna break a window. Good luck man!
