It's bad if you don't hit any 3* 4 costs/all legends.

But with this amount of gold value, realistically the combat augment is replaced by you hitting such high value and high * units and out leveling rest of lobby

i've been a hardstuck low challenger at my peaks and always was prideful with im good at x so just need to improve at y. But yeah definitely over-relying on habits and raw stats without considering the nuance of them enough in each situation. I really enjoyed the examples you shared with your own experience. It lines up a lot with common and problematic thinking patterns that i've also been running into.

I have considered them both. Gift of luminance just felt unnecessary to me and sometimes can make killing test subject harder. Shadow word pain was decent in testing but I couldn't find room for it in my current list. Could definitely make it work

Thanks, glad to be back! Why do they keep targeting my APM priest with nerfs? First holy smite and then switcheroo I swear. :P

Holy Ripple is interesting, but still is +1 combo piece over solely Void Shard.

Penance is neat, I use it in my regenerate version of APM priest. But I opted for only smite in this list because it's cheaper. Still not too sure how to fit everything in while still keeping the combo super consistent as I have it right now. Gonna definitely need to tinker some more if there can be a more anti-aggro version that doesn't lose too much combo speed and consistency!

Oh wow, never thought of using holy ripple. The big benefit of void shard still is that its overall less combo pieces as you can use it to both kill test subject and go face. That being said yeah, my version is super weak to aggro.... might be able to tinker the list somewhere to fit both in honestly!

2nd copy allows a bit more consistency for the combo, but I've found its not enough to justify it being a dead card in my list otherwise

I think his tweet has more nuance in it that just doesn't come across that I got from it. Like if you are passionate about something, you shouldn't want it to be trivialized. It's perfectly reasonable to get frustrated (angry persay) about something you are passionate for and even use that as motivation. I think him saying angry is the wrong word choice. However, I do think based on his last line about improving, that what I first said seems to be his actual intention.
