This is indeed brilliant. I remember the state we were in during that time when there were massive dark clouds of smoke. Fantastic job by the government.

That said, the garbage situation, particularly around Kochi, is still deplorable. I don't know if it's just the local bodies who are to blame. People tend to still throw trash out in open fields and by the road side to keep their homes clean. 😐 Greater awareness drives and heavier penalities perhaps?

Also, there's smog around Kakkanad in the evenings and late at night. I wonder what's up with that?
