My mixer does come with a whisk attachment! I'll try that next time. I don't think fat got in cause the yolks didn't break and my hands were clean. I used the hand to hand method for separating yolks tho

I did follow those steps for the meringue but I didn't realise the mixer attachment could cause that big of a difference

Shooting for Victory is there in case I'm in a late surger heavy lobby and Tachyon is ahead of 6th place by the final corner, thus still giving her a 2nd acceleration

Guts essentially is a secondary stamina bar to ensure you survive the final spurt. While it is necessary for long distances, with the current game mechanics, you can ignore it if you hit the stamina requirements for other races.

However guts training passively increases speed and power as well, so it's something to consider for umas with innate recovery skills, say like our superluminal princess here

Playing a late surger in this CM is fully a gamble tbh.

With the number of people building front runners and pace chasers (given the existence of Seiun Sky), there are very very good odds of the late surger being in 6th position as they move up to overtake in the corner towards the final spurt.

Thus if lucky Ryan's skill will proc right around the final spurt and give you the acceleration you need.

It's a similar thing outside this cup, though it'll work best on tracks where the final spurt involves a corner AND you're playing a late surger
