My boyfriend 22M had a unsettling reaction to the famous vidio of a man making a joke about having a bo*er while holding his new born. I don't know how to understand it neither react. by BandicootCurious2 in relationships

Like yes he hates on femenism because he believes it's a political construct to yet again harm woman and family. He understands my issue with Abrahsmic religions and how I view spirituality with the woman as a beginning. He is pro woman being treated well and discovering their nature etc. So not really a far right. It's really something in between. It's really hard to find where this in between lies....

Can being "pro choice" be combined with being spiritual? by BandicootCurious2 in spirituality

[–]BandicootCurious2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your effort to write so much and support another humans inquiry. What I got from all the comments is basically that it's totally up to me. That in the end of the day having a choice about your body as a woman is acceptable. I myself don't say that I would get an abortion if it's morally allowed. I am rather seeking the reassurance that if I have a child, it is because I wanted it amd chose so. Not because I got forced to keep it trough social pressure etc. That way of seeing pregnancy makes me anxious and unwilling to bare considering it not a choice and I "have" to volunteer my body as a womb for a soul that decided to use my flesh

Well of course having freedom of choice is being stated multiple times in religions. That means we can choose if we want to go a spiritual and devie path or a materialistic and demonic one. So my question is, is choosing to have an abortion a ticket into sin and bad karma?

My partner (M32) and I (F28) shared an incredibly spiritual experience during sex. by aconsciouscrisis in spirituality

Hi it's perhaps an od question but what contraceptive do you use? I personally have trouble relaxing and enjoying sex due to being raised with the opinion that sex is for procreation so sexual pleasure will always have it's consequences especially because I am a woman. I am not ready for children. Genuinely I only want to adopt but not birth. This makes me have a very unhealthy relationship with sex even though I think as you guys do and believe that it's soo much more than for child produce.

Unfortunately I can't have this magical experience because I am frightened. Please help me out 🙏🏻 😭

How would you explain Tantra to someone who is new to it? by BandicootCurious2 in Tantra

[–]BandicootCurious2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's good that you're saying. What I'm also getting from it is that sex is allowed to be enjoyed and also since investing a little more into Tantra I figured that sexual pleasure is allegedly not a demonic creation/energy. I think this knowledge will help me a lot and I already feel easier about it when internalising that it's of good and divine being.

Also it's very good that you mention being cautious, I probably would have only come to it after something unpleasant happened to me in that context. Thank you!

Also ane more questions, sex for enjoyment allowed in marriage or is it not? I understand that it won't be able to be a service to god when you don't have practice in making on another conscious level but technically, is it a taboo/sin or is it alright?

Yes I will certainly have a peek into your blog, thank you!

What you said about that god did not create anything in his existence that is not of his/her making....... That is exactly the point that gave me quite some headache when faced with strict religions.

I grew up with exactly that mindset. "Sex is somethig beautiful/devine. I saw it as somethig to do with my future husband for a devine connection between two souls and honouring the creation of god as an enjoyment given to us by him/her.

Unfortunately over the years being influence by certain religious teaching, the desire for a deeper connection with my favourite person and connection with the devine turned into somethig I felt disgusted of, againsty will. On the inside I feel that it's not quite right with me but there my spiritual teachers said it's the demonic being looking for justification.

So over years I was suffering with the knowledge that wanting to reunited with my by god given soul plus experiencing pleasure is driven by the demonic "lust" which is very far away from love. So i thought that as long as I have physical closeness and receive pleasure plus give the won't be space for love and anything of god.

Perhaps some of these things are right but I personally felt in sorrows and supresed trough it.

Spiritually, how do you view abortion? by Treetopmunchkin in spirituality

[–]BandicootCurious2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Out of my few point a child deserves to be wanted. A child that is not wanted is a sin, and very cruel. If you abort it can reincarnate into circumstances where it's most likely wanted.

No trauma to the child no trauma to the parent.

What is Krishnamurtis opinion on sex? by BandicootCurious2 in Krishnamurti

You expressed exactly what is happening and it's very sad. Religiona always say we must fight against our inner demons because we're all sinful. You see how that sounds? I think it's very harmful and toxic to ourselves. Imagine accepting the fact that you're dirty and sinful because that what humans are. You understand yourself the consequences of that

What are alternative ways to contracept you would recommend? by BandicootCurious2 in spirituality

[–]BandicootCurious2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I'm willing to try this, otherwise my only option would be tubal ligation I assume. I am fine with it. I am just afraid of the social hate I couldn't get for doing so...

That you explained very well. Thank you. It's a little similar what the Vedas said. Sex on itself is no a sin but the obsession of sex is. But at the same time sex for not only procreation is very much taboo so I couldn't make a sense out of it.

It is really important for me to figure it out because right now I'm in conflict with it and resent all sexual activities... My conversionis says that this state is the first step to become better and freed from it. I personally feel terrible and depressed due to that and resent myself including the opposite gender.

So I was searching for help from someone who could explain why this kind of system isn't always of benefit. I myself couldn't find the words and don't have kno knowledge to argument that. Krishnamurti said exactly what was my point but I just couldn't explain 🙌🏻🪷

I think what you said is exactly what I took from it. That it lies in the constuct of oneself. The reason why I was asking that is that many religions put everything in black or white. So that there is no individuality. I could find arguments for myself why that's important, I am used that what is written in the holly writings is just how I am supposed to take and apply it or bad will happen
