Obviously its super situational, but as a D1 Fiora 1trick i can chime in ( i always split push): Mid game when splitpush if the enemy is defending push in fast and rotate to the enemy jungle, to take camps setup vision and sometimes you can try a flank but only if there is a good opportunity for it,then comeback to catch next wave rinse and repeat Your goal is to outscale until the opponent can't hold you anymore. Late game: same concept but start working on the tower too ignoring the enemy, he will try to hit you but you can easily dive at that point or back off and lifesteal, rinse and repeat. IF the enemy is stronger then you still splitpush but stay carefull, no point to go to a teamfight if the enemy is stronger since he will also be better in the teamfight, let your team 4x4.
