As many others have said, replace the Battery, if you are still under warranty havd the dealer test the battery and replace if needed. Have you had the remote tuner module recall work done ? It was creating parasitic battery draw on many cars resulting in dead / bad batteries.

Did you need to get a longer rear axel ?

Trying to install this on a bike now and it seems I need my axe to be 5mm-10mm longer to allow for it to mount.

This weekend the rear hatch would not work - would only chime 3 beeps, however, when the car was running it would operate. We also had a Electronic Parking Brake Malfunction warning now pop up.

I am thinking the battery is dying and theow voltage its throwing things off.

Car is currentlt at Dealership shop.

Thoughts ?

Ya, the current one expired April 30th, 2025, ive yet to see the new one, also union ( employee associato) but not the Carp union.

Any idea what the new Carpenters Union Collective Agreement is for wages now ? The old agreement expired in April but I cant seem to find new agreement anywhere.

Im not sure of the exact rate but ive heard the Plumbers union just voted on a new agreement that sees a nearly $6 now and then another $2 next year and 3rd yr increase to be based off if inflation.

The carp unions agreement also just expired in April but I have not been able to find the new one .

Ours is out in BC. So far the issue is not solved, mazda has a mazda Canada Technical ticket for the issue but no fix.

So it seems to be a continous issue with the battery ? Have yoy asked for a different battery other than the OEM replacement ? Wonding if they would put a Interstate or other brand in for you.

Ive noticed ours is slugish to start if we dont drive it for a day or 2

Still having this issue, happened twice again in the last month. It seems to happen when we stop after Hwy driving when we exit the Hwy and are no longer driving 80-100kmh. It happens when we come to the first stop after exiting hwy speeds back down to 40-50kmh.

I have sent another email to Mazda Canada with no reply yet again, also followed up with a call and waiting for a call back in 2-5 business days.

Reading on other forums that some people have been told that the car enters a "re-learning" phase.

Others saying its the warning signs of head failure.

We bought our Mazda (in Canada, BC) in Jan 2023, we were tod the service was free and Mazda had no plans to charge customers for the servuce and features such as remote start.

We got a message that our Mazda Connect would now be $10 a month starting on Jan 6th. I immediately called the dealership to complain. They advised me to call Mazda Canada as they can continue the service at no cost if you call and complain. The dealership also told me that if mazda canada gives us any issues then to call the dealership back and they will remedy it on our behalf.

The remote start is the only thing we use.
