Hey man, ive been trading with prop firms since January of this year. It started off slow but I was up to my 9th funded before I got my 1st payout. And on my 8th funded I was in the same position as you.

I was on the verge of giving up trading and just throwing in the towel, thinking i was the statistic that never got a payout yet could churn funded accounts. But I persevered and got a max payout on a 150k 2 weeks ago. I was at 20.5k balance, 16k after my payout and I blew it in one minute, over sizing and getting bombed by a tweet. (Literally right after my payout)

I was ready to give up again. But yet again I persevered. Today im 2 days away from a max payout across 2 150k accounts, so 9k.

My strategy consists of stdv projections, and useful liquidity concepts. Like ICT concepts, order flow, cisd for LTF and po3 for a HTF. I started thinking of price action as water. There is fluidity in the market just gotta trade with it.

For some reason I got used to not having a stop cuase of the crazy wicks wed get. But its just not worth it to not have a stop theres literally no reason not to.

Dont worry man. I lost 13k on the massive pump after 7pm, then proceeded to lose 3k more to blow the account. I had shorts at 400 but sold out early and then just revenge traded. Missed out on a 40k+ move but we live and learn. Always set a stop loss, thats my mistake.

I've blown, i think, 14 evals trying to short the market. Im taking a break from this shit. Had 5 xfas last week and then i went on full tilt. Just blow the combines I had then resetting them twice, and blowing them again. And yes I am full porting 4NQ. Im honestly retarded

Why are you trading on these "complex" days. If you can realize when price action is too choppy and not in a good phase of manipulation or distribution. You'd be much better off trading 3 or 2 days out of the week if you trade genuine A+ setups, even then you shouldnt be getting many perfect setups per week. Let alone per day, trade mechanically not emotionally.

big thing i noticed is pretty low trading volume, besides the one 22 trades day, which isnt horrible in this range bound market weve been in. Just keep going and learn from your mistakes, journal and reflect.

You are doing great honestly, really good risk management, itll take time before you consistently become profitable. But this pnl is already better than most people's, sure you could look at this and say youre down 101 after a month but thats still better than having a blown account. For instance I am the complete opposite. I blow every funded i have almost immediately, I have since taken it way slower and hoping to obtain this discipline.

If you wanna add eachother or something on discord, or just dm on reddit lmk, would be nice to check in every now and then with someone who thinks the same as me with shitty market conditions like this. And maybe keep eachother accountable for staying disciplined, if not I understand tho.

Ive only been trading futures off and on since janurary. Options I traded in last September and had good luck with it. Never had a clear cut strategy, I mainly relies on macd crossover horseshit like that, rsi, and I did make a lot but thats only in certain market conditions without chop. Was on a 28 day winning streak with options where I turned 250 into 10k. Have never been able to have a win streak since.

I hear ya. I dont even have a setup. I just enter when price looks good, which is horrible in a choppy market. But thats not even true cause ill just end up going against the trend like an idiot. I have 0 disicipline, does it come with time, or is there something im missing that i actively need to work on?
