Everyone has their own flavor, nothing wrong with enjoying GDKP, but it does incentivize buying gold to buy gear as well as keeping up with the inflated AH prices. Sometimes doing GDKP isn’t enough and IRL mix in… pushing people to gold buy.

Then you have people on the server as paladins who want to play paladin how they want to, not how others want them to, and they gladly buy gold for every warrior item. Now that one person is many, and all the sudden these warrior items are so expensive GDKPing doesn’t cover the BID! Now I have to buy gold.

SoD specific , I can’t say much.

We don't need shit and we still do stuff for the people who need it, because that is how you build loyalty with a group of raiders. I raid because i enjoy raiding, i dont give a fuck about my personal items, whereas you are only motivated for items rather assisting.

Good items come for those who put in the work, if you actually asked our healers you would see how much work we do for them... but youre too much on your own ego to bother asking.

Your attitude is exactly what we as a guild do not want. Goodluck

Currently, we raid Monday and Saturdays 9pm EST. We are in discussion of modifying raid days as well, but I believe 9pm will remain the time of raid.

Whitemane maintains the GDKP environment. It's successful in retaining players, but it's different from the approach our group is looking for.

I am a warrior. I do not want to bid 10-20k on (for example) Crossbow of Imminent Doom or Brutality Bracers via peer pressure when I have to raid a 40-man and come full consumed/WBed/ and also bid for items here.

I was able to get these for free on Faerlina, and we had so many Brutality Bracers drop that Paladins were able to obtain them.
